I really want Nick and Sharon to be eventually reunited but I want Sharon to be strong and independent and for Nick to want her not based on redeeming his past but based on an enduring love and passion for who she IS and was.
It's not about liking pairings. I feel that the actress SC has grown immensely during her tenure on YR. Not so w/JM or the character. Perhaps it's due to the conflate of various writers that he has been lost and somewhat fragmented. Whatever it is shows in the actor's portrayal; he appears disjointed as to what he is supposed to be bringing to his scenes. SC is solid no matter what is given to her, she's in it with conviction therefore presenting it seamlessly.
SC is a first class actress, JM phones his scenes and why put her with that? At least MM is to her level the two actors work well and it's coming across loud and clear. The most controversial pairings sometimes work the best.
I think Sharon should go back to Genoa City University and finish her degree. She can't be a spokesperson forever ... and she was a good student way back when. Would open up a bunch of new storylines and potential romances AND how much could it cost (they could just show her studying in her home all the time). AND Nick should only find out about her life through offhand remarks made by Noah - just like Sharon found out Nick was engaged etc. through Noah when they broke up.

These scenes seemed odd, like there was no rehearsal beforehand & I also think this Shadam crap is happening way too fast (though I wish it wasn't happening at all!)
Adam is really playing this "woe is me" role, working Sharon's naive psyche. He knows how Sharon's gonna react to Nick trying to "save her" from her newly found independence and he also knows how Nick's gonna WANT to be Sharon's "superhero" since that 's the stance he's ALWAYS taken with her. Adam's playing some serious mental games.
Who'd Nick get the flowers from? More people sucking up to him? Welcome to being at the TOP, Nick.

Sharon, please take heed to what this SNAKE is saying; he's telling you to WATCH IT being nice to him. Why aren't you LISTENING to what this schmuck is saying versus trying to give him the benefit of the doubt? I love Sharon but her being naive gets on my LAST NERVE!
I agree with traveladdie, this "Shadam" crap is being forced down our throats! If I'm going to watch my girl get airtime then I'd rather watch her in Shilly scenes since she has chemistry with BM. Shadam is a BS train wreck!
It comes down to the fact that Nick will never allow Adam to be with the love of his life, which remains Sharon. He will always interfere.
The funny thing is, if Adam hadn't committed such horrible acts in the past, I could actually see Sharon and Adam together, but as it stands now with Adam stealing her baby, it makes me sick to see them being friends.
If Adam hadn't done the things he did he and Sharon might actually be cute together, but I do not want them together. I think Sharon should be single for a while I'd like to see her working again.
That hug was weird. Adam put down that drink and gave Sharon a hug, that disturbed me. I thought he was going to smell her hair. I don't recall him ever displaying genuine affection, it was unexpected. I don't think Sharon saw that coming.
It seemed one sided to me. Adam holding Sharon got to him and I think Sharon could feel that emotion from him. I think she's surprised that Adam feels more than just friendly towards her.
The only thing painful is JM's awful acting, and Nick is such a tool, he's in way over his head and he looks like an idiot sitting in his fathers chair trying to be TGVN2.0. Sharon and Adam are riveting to watch. Adam and Sharon will be the couple to watch in '10 with fans asking phick, shick who?
I just think Sharon is looking at it that Nick is taking away her friend, because Sharon doesn't have friends outside of Nick and Jack, all her friends are dead and the writers act like her and Neil never met. So Sharon has noone she can really talk to, and she really appreciated the friendship with Adam. So Sharon will kind of PO'd with Nick for awhile.
I miss her friendship with Neil. I can't even remember the last time they had scenes together. I loved her friendship with Dru. There aren't a lot of friendships on the show in general though.
