The drumming was fantastic but really what i liked most was that lovely metronome click, why doesn't mine sound like that, all my software has a terrible click
@antyja Hey thanks for enjoying these. I do use the pads on the Akai but rather infrequently as every keyboard I have is designated to doing different functions in the studio to aid and increase my work-flow.
Would this software work with Logic on a mac? This is all new to me. This is the best sounding drums I've heard from software, and being played this way.
@chessdude67 As a matter of fact, I was triggering Superior Drummer from Logic 9 in the second half of this short demo. It will definitely work on your mac also as it's what I use.
I have also The Addictive Drums collection, The BFD II Collection & add on packs and last but not the least EZ Drummer inclusive with Stylus RMX & The Beat Thang Virtual. All emulate different playability and tweaking for various styles.
@rocksolid76 Thank you for getting back to me. Last question: Could you tell me which keyboard you are using. I'm getting ready to buy one this afternoon.
Yes, I have two macs and Logic Express. I can't get over the sound of these drums! I played drums for 20 years and worked in a drum shop for two years. Amazing!
@chessdude67 The keyboard I'm using is called the Edirol PCR-1. I like it simply because of it's touch sensitive nature which allows me to controll how hard or soft I strike the keys in drum mode. Though I would recommend this, i would also recommend the Akai MPK 25 or 49. Stay away from hammer action keys for playing drums.
i need this for my own music set up!
