@Xxfionac95xX orgianal name of the song was "heart shaped coffin". some believe that kurt was writing about his relationship with courtney and how it had gone sour sumhow. but kurt change the lyrics to hide the true "meaning" of the song. this is just legend and rumor by sum guys i know that work @ 107.7 the end (a radio station in seattle)

*shakes head* I should be thankful that at least the younger generation is getting to hear good rock music instead of just being force-fed Fall Out Boy and the like, but it's sad when kids are referring to perfectly good songs like Heart Shaped Box as "that song from Guitar Hero."

Still, kudos to you for recognizing a good song when you hear it, no matter where you heard it first.
