  • lol love his speech

  • If he was on all political things on tv, I'd whatch every single one

  • Does anyone on here have any political background? I'll admit I avoid political discussions like the plague. Still, having an artist I'm familiar with does open my eyes a little bit. Still, I acknowledge that it may just be him that I like, more than if he is a good politician or not. Does anyone have any (objective) thoughts on him? Politically? I may not know much, but I suppose this could be a start.

  • whos down for white castle

  • I suddenly want to go to white castle.

  • Yes Kumar, we need actors to guide us politically. You are so bright! Please share more of your wisdom.

  • This guy is gonna do wonders!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow he gives really good speaches... you can tell it comes natural...

  • he better star in harrold and kumar 3 or be pissed off

  • I could listen to him talk for hours

  • nice

  • I'm brown and I'm South Asian. I find it very funny that people have to judge others based on their eloquence rather than how strong their political views are and how much political experience one has.

  • no offends but sorry asians and so on should be the last people that talk about being racist

  • he's such an intelligent and articulate individual...he just amazes me...the fact that he's cute doesn't hurt either...

  • why do people use the word articulate when a brown person is educated and expresses himself?? When a white person is well-spoken..thenn.. nothing?? it is pretty racist to say that

  • He just may have the wonderful ability to articulate his viewpoint better than most human beings - he just may be so articulate in his views or on the situation at present that he changes opinions or even better votes!! this may not be a negative comment on race, but a positive comment on one person's ability to articulate the minds of thousands, brown, black, white, purple, green or otherwise. Stop nitpicking over youtube comments and think about the bigger picture.

  • it's not racist to give someone a compliment. there are lots of white people who are completely inarticulate, and it is just as much of a compliment to call one person articulate as another.

  • stop race baiting people you geek.

  • @ricky1oh1

Well you are the one whose making the connection that he's articulate for a 'brown' person...

Why can't he be articulate for an actor whose most famous role is a fairly uneducated stoner who is speaking to an audience of people about political activism?

How many white people are there in 'the spotlight' that are well spoken, that we didn't have the predisposition in thinking that they weren't well spoken?

  • he is really smart. i am so proud that he is a desi and he is doing good things for the community.

  • what comes to mind is a big bag of week and kal penn makin luv

  • I like kal penn (you know that way) <3

  • I think that acting is his stepping stone for something much bigger.

Wish I could meet more guys like this.

  • Maybe if you get a job in media (like you were thinking once), you could educate large masses of people through the platform of entertainment (Heehee! He said that!!) ...maybe work with some 'o those guys.....ennyhoo, he didn't say anything disagreeable, but it was 10th-grade regurge -- nothing profound -- I was waiting for the cookies and punch at the end, and maybe some fluffy pink and blue cotton candy.... ;)

    *yawn*

    つまらない

    (sorry)

  • Well I wish he were here right now to feed me fluffy cotton candy. Sigh.

  • I don't suppose it would be the same if I mailed you some...... :(

  • It would be even better if you could send me a photo of him holding pink cotton candy in one hand and blue in the other, preferably nude. I could also use some citrical with magnesium, tom's of maine toothpaste (whitening, not the gel) and a proper garlic press since my crappy husband has changed the locks. Am I digressing? I love Kal Penn!

  • Changed the LOCKS? Crap.

    Is everyone cranky these days?

I TOLD that (local) man that the brand was Citrical....why doesn't he believe me? Okay, and a garlic press. Got some other stuff too. Well, now I'm distraught. Can I send your crappy husband some Ovaltine without pissing you off?

    Oh, and Photoshop.....cotton candy....let's see.

  • Nice Speech, im glad he's indian haha

  • daamn smart and handsome WOW

  • Dude I just met him today, he's my hero now. He was campaining for Obama in my city today with Superman's Brandon Routh....he's a very intelectual individual, both of them are inspiring yo

  • Hey I was there...met him too. Pretty chill guy.

  • Wow. That was an intelligent, well thought out point of view presented in an articulate and unoffensive manner.

...I didn't know people did that anymore.

    How amazing is this guy?

  • who doesn't love Kal Penn?

  • he is so smart

  • When was this taken?
