Honestly, somebody fucking kill all these politicians already so we can get rid of the monetary system, this is ludicrous. We have the resources to feed and home every person on Earth and provide wealth to every human being on the planet by instituting geo-thermal and wind alone. Those would generate 2000 ZJ which is enough energy to fuel the Earth for 4000 years. That energy could be harvested in a year if we maximized geo-thermal alone, we only use something like 2 ZJ a year.
