heey peeps i wand your advice about this i planning to buy this amp the Marshall MG50 dfx and the ibanez rg350 dx wh is this a nice setup? if you have anny better advice please commend.
i have one and 3 pedals (2 distortion+1 vibe) and when you have both distortions on at once it makes a very strange and annoying noise. do you know why?????
@TheSmyates Because you really shouldn't use two distortion pedals at the same time.Especially if you have the gain cranked up.And if you are doing it on the overdrive channel on the amp,it sounds even worse.Also if you are using the amps effects,and 2 distortion pedals,it can make it sound like crap.
I've got this amp and if you put the right settings on it you can get a sick metal sound out of it. I've got a great thrash tone on mine for when I play some metallica or megadeth. The clean channel and the effects are worth a look at too because they are really fun to use.

I dont like this amp very much but the clean channel is great. the overdrive sounds very muddy and digital

It's a classic Marshall overdrive/distortion...very suitable for many styles of music

got my mg50dfx a year ago.
the only problem with it i have is, right when i turn it on the cooling fan is SO DAMN LOUD. but it goes quiet after a minute or so.
it's a great amp, love the clean channel on it.
