You could definitely use a FRED at the end of that consist though! And are those track joiners to scale at 2:33 and throughout the rest of the vid or are they just your standard HO rail joiners? Thanks again!
The layout was designed and built using Atlas Code 83 flex track and Walthers Shinohara Switches. The associated rail jointers are the standard Atlas Code 83 variety.
The track was first nailed to cork roadbed, then airbrushed with Testors Rail Brown paint. Woodland Scenics Medium Grey Blend Ballast comes next soaked with a white glue/water/alcohol mixture. Finally grimy black and brown weathering chalks are applied sparingly to the ballast surface and brushed in to create the dark areas between the rails. A final spritz with a water/alcohol solution seals the weathering chalk.
