This amazing little girl was found and now lives with her father. I am a friend of the family and see them regularly. Jaelynn is safe and her whereabouts is known by the authorities as well as everyone else involved. She is my little girl's friend. Thank God it all worked out.

You know, I find the sentence "such adults should not reproduce" and "its terribly sad that people use innocent children to hurt eachother" so rude. You have no idea about the fathers parenting. The mother is the one in jail. The father has all rights to Jaelyn. Her dad and stepmom love her. He just wants his daughter. She isnt being used by him to get back at the mother. Im her Aunt. Were worried sick about her. You have no right to accuse the father of anything. She is loved and cared for.

I guess it would be safe to say that this child is alive but hidden away by the mother...and yes it is cruel when innocent children are used as symbols of retaliation between adults. Such adults should not reproduce...get a puppy and see if you can raise that first.
