Very nice blending of the different year parts and the subtle detailing make this ride way cool. My first car was a '53 Ford, stock 2, but this one is a real beauty.
I see what people mean about the steering wheel, most definitely the part that needs changing the most to stay in-keeping with the rest of this beautiful looking car...
When I first looked at this one I thought he just grafted a 49 clip onto a 53 Ranchero but on second look I noticed that he changed the rear side windows to resemble the sporty 49 Country Squire and the doors are also canted like thpse on a Country Squire. That power train is a good choice for a sporty, family wagon.
thats actually pretty cool. i've seen people put cressida front ends on supra's before and make sort of frankenstein monsters in the same way, but it didnt look bad at all. there's some creative folks out there.
I am surprised that you didn't make note of the subtle blend of the red to dark red paint scheme. The transition from the 53 to 49 front end is seamless and done to look like it grew there. A really nice job. I would have loved to see what all they had to do to make it match up so well. Really nice car. If I were in the market for a new car, I would do this instead.
That's a Kool Ride.

you've got some self control to focus on one car at a time. i'd be like "ooh look at that, and that, AND THAT" those stang 5.0's sound good yep.

@GeneralGHustler That little bit of wood grain doesn't bother me on this one. It does look a lot like Tim's car.
