it would be more eco-friendly to use the water or vinegar method. windex is toxic, so after you've used on your newspaper you have to throw it in the trash instead of the compost or recycling bin. the paper can be recycled again using the other two ways.

Newspaper is used all the time in the car businesses, especially when cleaning dirty windows. Paper towels and rags leave streaks and lint. Nothing does the job like newspaper.

no it doesnt. if you are using a rag from a T-shirt or whatever as a rag, it would be cotton or polyester.

neither of wich will leave lint because the fibers are twisted togeather and tightly weaved, it wont cause lint.
