The simpsons ones are only collectible if they are officially liscensed and not bootleg. The only "POGS" he has are the ones from the World POG Federation. Passion Orange Guava is what Pog stands for. The game originated in Hawaii around the end of world war II with Milk caps from Milk bottles. The first comapny to bring the game stateside was TROV. The three main company's in Southern California, (Orange County) that sprung up were World Pog Federation, TROV, and J&K ( Big Joe).

p.s "poison" may have been a specific company, but it was also used in the game. when a player would flip over a "poison" pog they wouldent keep the others that had been flipped over, instead they would be placed back into the pile

The lighter slammers made it harder to flip the pogs which meant more competitive matches. The big metal ones are more for showing off how many you can flip at once.
