It was mainly a joke, but I didn't want anybody to copy my video back then. I don't know why really, I was 18 at the time. It's pretty old now, check out the two newer ones, besides all the half life clips.

Anywho, I'm going to make another one this winter on break. It won't be Metroid but Halo... I myself don't like Halo, I'm simply doing this for a friend. But my last video for Metroid took 3 months of work and planning and it didn't get much recognition as this one did (this one took 3 days), so I'm a little discouraged at making another.

My one disappointment in MP2:E was that the last boss wasn't a Dark Luminoth. I mean, there had to be at least one left over from when the they didn't know how to fight the Ing. And that would've been a sweet boss battle... I dream about it at night...

i waited for a dark luminoth the whole time i played the game..i mean, everywhere are dead luminoth but not a single seems to be infected by the ing...kinda strange

They had armor to prevent them from getting infected, and some of their greater warriors had psychic training to resist infection, and I'm guessing all those infected before then must've been hunted down. Still, they could've had at least one or two. Could be that they thought a Dark Luminoth would have been too difficult, I mean, you can't even hurt U-mos. However, that just raises the question of "HOW DID THE ING WIN IN THE FIRST PLACE???"

Nintendo games r good, but don't make much sense.:)

they won from their ability to posess things, their total ooze form, and their numbers.

also with thier ooze form they could slip past traps, and the f***cking luminoth light sheild things didnt defend from the ing's ranged beam attack and the atmosphere of it woud harm the luminoth so if the ing had something that could cover one of the shields, the luminoth were screwed. and with thier hunters they could phaze in and out to ambush the luminoth. and most luminoth would kill themselves before becoming infected and pretty much mutilated themselves, so the ing could not use them

continuing from my previous response, also with the ing wall crawlers, they could ambush luminoth. and from the light beacons most lmioth couldn't have enoguh time to recharge them so they died

They did, but the idea was abandoned after awhile. Not exactly sure why they scrapped it... Maybe you should message Retro studios. They might have a straight answer, I'd do it for giggles and shits.

I'm a fan of the series, played (and beat) all of them except Metroid Prime 3 Corruption (duh), Metroid II Return of Samus, and SUPER METROID (and I dare call myself a Metroid Superfanboy).

So, with Wii, and it's Virtually Console, I can play Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, leaving me with Metroid II. :)

Sorry, I couldn't find any high quality clips of Metroid Prime in any of its forms, but I guess Dark Samus kind of counts. But for my first video I ever made I'm quite content.
