I was expecting a rundown , gritty , hardcore working class area but it was nothing like that at all. Their house is a 2 storey brick detached house , very well kept as are most of the houses around there. No ghettos anywhere in sight.

The time period they grew up were gritty, poor, hardcore, and a lot of violence.

The house itself is a double storey brick home , well kept with manicured lawn and I think it had a white picket fence or gate. Neighbours were very friendly. I can't comment about what the place was like in the 60's & 70's but can only assume that it wasn't very isolated as it's very close to Central Manchester. Seeing childhood photos of the Bros. it doesn't look like they lacked or wanted of anything.
