  • makes me feel so old , my passing out was 1976 ! well done lads good luck with your futures .

  • any chance i can get a copy, i cover whatever it costs

  • Hi Paddy. Yes I remember you of course, long time ago now though. Not a problem sending you a copy, no cost, it's only about 25p per disc to do. You need to let me have your address though. Probably not best for you to put them here in the open. If you're on Facebook you can find me there. You knew me as Mark 'Knooky' Ellwood from Sheffield. Find me on Facebook and we'll sort it.

  • I really enjoyed this, my son passes put in 5 weeks, can't wait for that day :)

  • @shelbypark128 - Bearing in mind this was 22 years ago now, I'm not too sure if the passing out parades are done the same or not. You will have the most spectacular day though never-the-less. It will be a day both you and your son will never forget.

  • I really enjoyed watching this. I was the US Navy Lieutentant on exchange as Walker Division Officer. Can't see myself in the clip, but I'm sure I was there. Thanks for posting -- and thanks for your service.

  • @tbb1212 you were my commanding officer back in 1985 I believe, not bad for a yank

  • Shame I cant find a vid from my year (1987) I was in Oliver 14's - Great time and some wicked beastings!!

  • @blazer666del

Hi, Am in the process of having mine put on to DVD, I was Anson 37 of 1987, passing out was nov-ish of the same year, dont know if would have been gone by then but can send you a copy when its done if you want.

    Steve (MEM(M) Illustrious & Hermione)!

  • Fecking hell...I was there a fortnight after that was filmed...started 15 July. Beaver Mess, Benbow Div.

Brings back memories...proper parade boots (sliding all over the place on the ramp down to the parade square), drill with SLRs, No. 1, No. 2, No. 5 and No. 8 dress.

  • I have the full DVD of the parade that this small snippet was taken from. I can get a copy to you if you want.

  • I started May 16th 1988, I was in Benbow 20 class. Just did my 6 weeks basic, then passed out 1st July 1988. Foloowing that we went on to do some ceremonial guard duties for about 2 months before we went on to trade training. I did my 1 year W.E.M. training at HMS Collingwood before being drafted to the submarine service.

  • @merlin261170 was in benbow 20 same time u probably new me as paddy
