What realy depressing and unfair is that Lana,as a mere human goes trough harsher "trials" with way lesser support and guidance than Clark troughout the show but gets robbed in the end of the one love she ever longed for.

Thats utterly terrible. The show crossed the line here.

do u know what is hypocrite, is that the writers downplayed Lana's reason to hurt Lionel who threatened to kill Clark if she didnt marry Lex,,, Clark in season nine ATTEMPTS to kill TESS and threatens if lois got hurt, yet haters see that as a prove of LOVE? lois in season 10 got Clark's powers and she wanted to kill him, yet this issue was NOT addressed, yet here Clark is having a VERY harsh and rude conversation with LANA because she misused his powers? HA! HILARIOUS....

In "Splinter" ep 7 season 5, Clark was infected by the Silver Kryptonite and almost killed his parents and Lana. Lana forgave him at the end.

Clark should do the same for Lana, infected by the Green Kryptonite.

There is still a gap in the evolution of Lana's character. It looks extreme to me that she turned dark so quickly.

All of a sudden, since the beginning of this season, everything looks different about her, she seems so impersonal.

I think that some secret still to be revealed.

I think it is important to remember that Lana was infected. she tried to kill lex because of the kryptonite. now, the stuff that she has done before this episode she is responsible for. hate her or love her, at least she took that responsibility upon herself. she blamed no one but her, and I give her props for that.

Lois had pretty good reasons to want Lex dead.

Considering her military training, she'd be able to kill Lex without powers.

And guess what? Lois wanted to expose him, not to kill him.
