I have this game on the Sonic Classic Collection for the Nintendo DS. ( I'm currently stuck on this stage). I can't imagine what it must've been like in 1991 with no save states or continues.

I'm relieved to see I don't actually have to catch the boss, I just have to make it to the top without drowning.

Man, I can't beat Eggman in this level. One of the hardest nooses I ever vs. In my life. Thank goodness I'm playing it on the DS though. Why does Sonic have to lose ALL his rings when he gets hurt? Why can't he just lose half of it.

I've only got passed robotnick once on this level it's damn hard. Any tips would be appreciated. I certainly won't be punching the halfway marker next time cos theres no rings after that.

yeah you don't have to beat robotnik down on this one, just make sure you get to the top without you getting drowned as their's no bubbles at all.

I used to have hard time on Marble Zone Act 3 and today I finally made it to Labyrinth Zone Act 2 and the game killed me off and mocked me for it! >X( Either way I still am a Sonic fan! :)
