  • Have you noticed how many casks that guy is buying from the bottle shop? jesus!

  • The composite rhythm concertina and lyrical mélange of words end up morphing into a paralectic subversion, inferring the paraphrase “You make us SWINE..... Dr. Lindeman’s SWINE”.... very poetic and highly intelligent. Despite the substance abuse. The author was obviously committed to his fieldwork methodology.

  • Little known fact: this catchphrase was written by Booker Prize winning author Peter Carey.

  • Without a doubt, the greatest Australian ad music ever written.

  • The one purpose of wine is to bring happiness to man!!!!

  • Wow after all these years I now get to see it's Dr Linderman Smile not Got the Linderman smile which I always sung oh the shame !!!

  • this jingle has stuck in my head for 30 years..

I still walk to work singing..

you make us smile Dr Linderman..

    killer!!!

  • Damn Alcopop tax from OZGOV. Im gunna get a flagon or a goon bag now. I also remember this tune. Belongs on GOLD104..

  • Are we to assume Lindsay from Frenzal chugs this stuff?? Can you even buy it anymore?

  • i reckon the period of (late70's early 80's) of tv promo's & adverts came out with some real catchy theme songs.

    what happened ?

  • Two things happened to catchy commercial themes. One, people stopped wanting catchy themed commercials. Two, they became very expensive to shoot. Even a small commercial advert from the seventies would cost millions to make now. I wish they would come back.

  • Classic commercial!! I still remember this commercial crystal clear and terrific music!!
