You should get gameranger aswell, you can play it online with your friends with literally no hassle of set up. you just host, invite + play :)

Yeah I'm not sure why it is. I have a 2.3ghz with 512mb ram and a Geforce FX 5200 (old computer really, but far better than the recommended specs for this game) and it still runs choppy on my computer, and that's without recording video. Icewind Dale 1 and Baldur's Gate etc. run flawlessly though, not sure why this one is choppy.

You can raise fps on the config , just so you know, default fps is a torture to play... as in bg2

IWD2 is such a great game, but so difficult too

Me and my friend are working on a Drizzt game that spans the time when he was in menzoberranzan and we are working on getting a working demo before we present it to see if its okay to make. So far its just a concept though.

It's Heart of Fury mode. That means they got FUCKLOADS of hp. Plus better saving throws higher attack bonuses etc etc.

@aekhoo I played the whole game on Heart of Fury, starting at level 1 ahah. The first hours were the hardest. At some point though, with the upgraded equipment pieces and the extra xp, it becomes easier.

Did you play Baldurs Gate 2 ? I heard about "mod" who change the BG2 system to IWD2 game system. It is a good idea to use that mod ? IWD2 interface/game system is the best for me. Now i'm playing this BG2 and everything is a little "poor" for me. I'm thinking about the interface.

Yes, it's called the Icewind gate and it's playable, but it has so many bugs that kills the game experience and forces you to use cheats sometimes to aviod bugs

It's Chinese. There is alot of translation work to do in this kind of game with large amount of text dialogue. Icewind dale series is ok because of more battle involvement but think about similiar Black Isle RPG games such as Planescape: Torment...it's just like to translate a damn literature.

You guess what, it's like a vice versa version of those translators' incredible work of translating a massive amount of Chinese classical literatures into another language by which the foreign readers are still quite confused as so many cultural and linguistic elements were inevitably at lost. Nevertheless all these hard working people really ought to be respected.

Don't make your average level too low - the maps will spawn less opponents, so you miss out on xp anyway.

Get the revised experience tables from the net or just alter moncrate.3da in Override folder yourself!

it's a program called Fraps, which is to benchmark, capture screenshots and video for OpenGL and DirectX application. I built the first two characters from scratch (actually two preset ones) under the lead of a nearly top-level character from previous campaigns and added the rest (also from level 1) gradually when i believed that i was able to be confronted by the coming battle with the retirement of the leader. Due to the low average level it yields large amount of xps under the HOF mode.

why cleric/barb?? Only reason I can see is feat heroic inspiration, your cleric probably isnt dmg dealer..

I've played this game more than once and only in the first time i'd developed a very balanced team without much multi-classing. This play is definitely not my first playthrough so i just wanna try something rare and challenging. If i remember right the main reason behind a cleric/barb is to boost his HP, whose main cleric class level has already been high enough to cast all known spells with decent effect..and maybe some feats and special skills i can't specify now.
