  • kraftwerk anyone?

  • anyone know what year this came out?

  • @bamboneski

i think in the late 70`s

  • @bamboneski 1986

  • @bamboneski 1982

  • I remeber when this first came out...no one thought anything like this would last...I listen to majority cHRISTian stuff now, but I will admit this is history....I remember...

  • @peacheslovesjesus jesus isnt real .....religon is phony... convince me..

  • @peacheslovesjesus totally agree

  • without kraftwerk he wouldnt be a nobody

but he helped kraftwerk to become noted and successful in the usa

  • Disagree on both points.

Bambaataa's catalog consists of so much more than Planet Rock... and arguably Lookin for the Perfect beat is probably more known than Planet Rock...

...also Kraftwerk had enough talent and clout to have been noted... after all Juan Atkins/ Cybotron was also out at this time... it woud've been inevitable

  • A great remix of two great Kraftwerks songs, nice blend of German Techno and hip hop

  • Hip hop not a music!!real culture!!RESPECT

  • best break dance music of the world

  • This beat was the beginning of all beats that were ever created after it. The mother of all beats and most duplicated beat in history.

  • @rpg68 the beat was but they took the melody from kraftwerk

  • Afrika Bamaataa is one of the first hip hop artist that was known over the world with this song.

  • @Rappe95an the sugarhill gang was the first hiphop song in 1979

  • @djcountry1985 i never said that Afrika Bamaataa was the first i said he was one of the first and your retarded if you think that sugarhill was the first

  • wait does he sing at all or did you cut out the words

  • He sings and the person cut out the words

  • does he sing at all?

  • Yeah he sings

  • this is just the beat and he rap to this beat but ive searched but cant find the original here on youtube.

  • PLANET ROCK DUH!!!!

  • o!o!

  • Dang those are nice space graphics for such an old video.

  • this song is awesome!

  • btw, there was no flavor in that kraftwerks version, i mean thanks for the sample but theres nothing hip hop about it,, so thank you BAMBAATAA, A thank you JDILLa for big booty express...

heres a thought, everyones talking about ripping people off of their samples, but how many of you, including myself ripp youtube videos and music.. classic rippoff..

  • Really? No flavor in kraftwerk? I don't care if artists use other people as inspiration I love sampling, Daft Punk does it alot too, but you should never forget the efforts of the original artists'. I'm just sayin'.

  • hey everyone... i learned how to play the keyboard, but i couldnt use scales , cause id be ripping them off.... fuckers talk shit, cause it makes them fell intelligent for the moment. but they dont really know sheit, im not saying i do, but theres def. a skill that goes into sampleing, not looping, but chopping up the sample and doing your own thing with it.. personally, i love the art.. im listening to a much wider range and variety of music because of it.. i guess im getting old...

  • Ali G

    xDDDDDDDDD

  • I don't get why ppl bitch about HipHop usin samples like bands never cover other ppls songs. Its the same basic thing.

  • I dont give a rats ass who covers who, Im simply pointing out that Kraftwerk is MORE ORIGINAL and pioneering, moreso than other bands, since THEY are the ones that were imitated/ripped exhaustively

  • Well am not gonna argue with yuh, everyones entitled to their own opinion. Plus a dont know anythin about Kraftwerk so...

  • its called sampaling no one riped anyone off do some reasearch

  • ya, noone got ripped, thats why they had to give Kraftwerk 100's of thousands of dollars for using TWO of their songs to make this one...

  • Oh, THIS song is a rip off of the KRAFTWERK song "Trans Europe Express" from 1977. Kraftwerk was the band that Afrika Bambaata ripped off in 1982 to create the song "Planet Rock" combining Kraftwerk's rythym from the above mentioned song, the beat from 1981's "Numbers", and some voice filtering techniques that Kraftwerk pioneered.. If ANYONE claims to like rap or hip-hop, show respect for the group that pioneered the start of the MODERN style of hiphop and techno, etc etc

  • fuck off you buzz kill no one cares stop wasting your life and our own.

  • yay! this is the version i remember from radio.

  • wat the fuck r u talking about hater

  • he talk about Kraftwerk "Trans europe express"

  • Kraftwerk helped them make this, genius.

  • i love this song

  • LUV DIZ & PERFECT BEAT

  • like the song vids pretty cool fits it could of done better

  • this is taken from a documentary!
