I saw this trick done live at the fox theater in Detroit. Though we noticed the switch at the curtain even in person and it's obvious on this video, that motorcycle appearing in the middle of the crowd was one of the most impressive live performances I have ever seen. I've seen his show twice now and I highly recommend it. Videos do not do this justice.

@thedeathdispenser - I agree with you. I saw this twice, he used it for his closer both times and it amazed me even though I had seen it done already. I have always been a fan of his, he is truly impressive!

J ai trouvé le "truc"! A 0.45 min "quand il rentre derrière le rideaux" la main qui se pose sur ce dernier n'est pas la sienne. Il s'agit de la main d'un complice qui tire le rideaux. David ne fait qu'accompagner le mouvement donnant l'illusion... Donc ce n'est pas lui sur la moto "qui monte".

That was not David on the bike. The switch took place behind the huge black curtain. David should be arrested for cheating.

At 43 seconds, when his doubles hand reaches and then opens the curtain David is already running through the building to get to his position out in the crowd. So that is the disappering act. There is a black drape that hides the bike like a pull down curtain. Fireworks blind and all the action going as David reappears gives the double time to roll off the bike and pull another small black drape over the top of the bike. You can see a little hiccup when the lights scan the backdrop. It's bad

lol.. you can see the jacket forming around the chest on the girl who switched with him behind the curtain as she jerks around on the chains inside the box acting like it's him checking everything out.

if you go to one of his shows live and see this watch for a woman walking through the audience it's him in disguise and its not him on stage they do the switch when the curtain opens

cuando se va para atras y se muesta la moto, se cambia con otra persona que hace de él, se nota porque es un poco mas bajo y se mueve raro, no como david se mueve, sobre todo se nota cuando se agarra a las cadenas, david es más flaco y nunca se moveria así. La moto sigue colgando de ahi al igual que su doble y se nota por el humo cuando un haz de luz pasa por donde estaba la moto, se ve la silueta del casco.

Saw this illusion live at his show back in the 80's. My favorite illusion. I've seen him live on stage now 4 times always well worth the money to see him. He'e the best!!!!

He did the smoothest, slickest 'switch' I have ever seen, notice the 'hand' just before he goes behind the curtain.
