  • too flash.

No good for a sincere church.

  • Ralph Vaughan WIlliams x Diane Bish = Perfection!

  • Glorious

  • sounds like the doxology?

  • @Moraleg1 It is.

  • This arrangement is very special to me. I played the first trumpet part with my college brass ensemble at the commencement service for our graduation. It's a little nerve wracking when you have to hit the A above the staff. You're completely exposed there. The West Point Band is an elite Army ensemble. It's made up of NCOs. It's not a cadet band. The director of my college ensemble was himself a member of the band as a sergeant, and chose this arrangement for the service..

  • O Praise Ye the Lord in the Highest!!!!!!!

  • Think this is good? Listen to the video of Old 100th posted by ieuz123. It will jump-start your dead heart!!!!!!!

  • O Praise Ye the Lord!!!!!!!

  • This is a gloriously majestic presentation by the phenomenal Diane Bish and the West Point Military Band. Thank you for such an invigorating posting.

  • Carol Williams is best of Diane Bish! Boooo Diana Bish! Hooray Carol!

  • just wondering why Diane Bish is so amazing. I mean how can she accomplish that much amazingness?!?!

  • Williams composed this arrangement for the Queen's coronation in 1953, must have sounded as magnificant as this in Westminster Abbey! Well done Bish!

  • To Bishfan, a huge thank u, this was the first video is saw of Diane Bish and fell in love with her, then watched what seemed like millions of your videos, and then ordered her organ books from America to have a go.

    :-)

  • The organist is a very gorgeous woman wow!

  • Yeah!! Her hair always looks pretty; she has a sweet face and voice. She's so pretty and feminine!! I love the full episodes because I get to watch and listen to her talk besides hearing the music. When she's not on camera for a while, I start saying: "Get sweetie back on!!"

  • Think of it as a modern Chorale Prelude.

  • Ermm why? It is sung to, I have a version of CD with a choir singing it.

  • You should make a video and place it on youtube.... I for one have searched high and low and haven't found one yet. What is the CD?

  • The Westminster Abby Choir, the tune is known as the old 100th for a reason. And that reason is, the words are the King James version of the 100th psalm.

  • This gave me goose bumps! A magestic and stirring arrangement, and beautifully played. Thanks for posting!

  • Excellent. RVW, a credit to England.

  • @nde575 Noooo!

  • Classy lady!

  • Outstanding!!!!

  • wow the running solldiers on 02:39 - very sexy ;-)

    but good played! good musicer

  • I love this arrangement: the fanfares, the trumpet descant, John Dowland's fauxbourdon harmony, the lot! And for my taste, the tempo is just right; it's often played a lot slower than this.

All it needs is people singing along :D

  • I love this great Moller...but the acoustics suck.

  • They can't be THAT bad.

  • Well they arent aweful but they arent the best lol I still like this organ alot.

  • The defense of the nation is sacred. Defense of the nation begins with her people. USMA trains the leaders who train the people. Hooah! Bob M
