  • woop and now every youtuber who has ever seen arancini made or has tasted it, or even just visited sicily is an arancini expert.

  • I have to agree with nina, I lived in Sicily for awhile with my pops and he showed me how they made them. There was meat inside and cheese. I like the concept of making them small. Mine are always pretty large, I didn't think that they were baked just fried.

  • ok this is nothing like how I saw the Italian lady make them....there was meat inside and she didn't bake it......and they were round nice size balls....

  • non li chiamerei arancini....sembrano palle di riso etc

  • Dear youtube ad's please make some better filters for them. If I searched for Crescents this would have been a good ad but no I searched for Arancini. An Italian dish. Spelling of both are probably off but o well.

  • what what what.............this is what what............if this is arancini you are the u.s.a. president.............im come from sicily and i know haw make the arancini and this is......fake american arancini...........please go tho clean the pot ...fake cheff....

  • what what what.............this is what what............if this is arancini you are the u.s.a. president.............im come from sicily and i know haw make te arancini and this is......

  • this is not arancini.....this is shit......and you are fake cheff.......come to sicily and learn how make arancini.................

  • ...

  • Mom always made arancini almost baseball size. Great video! Check out my (Twin Mountain) Cardone video or my pasta 'ca Shcarole video.

  • this is wayy off. common the authentic arancini's have egg and grated cheese in the rice. and the rice is colored using saffron in most cases. the filling is always cooked monced meat (similar to bolognese sauce style but dry) with mozarella cheese. dipped in egg and breadcrumbs only and fryied. very very bad recipe :(

  • questi non sanno neanche da dove si comincia per fare gli arancini....

  • I don't even know where to start from.

Let's just say these are quite strange arancini. Look for italian recipes which are ACTUALLY from Italy on youtube.

  • Ma questi NON sono gli arancini....

  • no! arancino siciliano

  • Dumb Americans have no idea what Arancini Siciliani are. NFI!!!

  • ok !!

  • @FeD14890 :)))

  • @FeD14890 guatda i miei se vanno meglio...

  • Awful recipe! Very un-authentic!

  • WTF!!! Nowhere near the real Sicilian Arancini!! Get real!!

  • F.I.

  • OMG!!....THIS IS NOT ARANCINI!!-_-"

  • BULLSHIT!!!

  • Not even close to the actual recipe. The guy dipped the arancini in the tomato sauce, instead of filling them with "ragu" sauce. Disaster!

    Another americanized Italian dish.

That lady has no clue about culinary art.

  • Cro Cazz,, ahahahahahahah

  • and the tomato!? the ragù salsa!?!?

this is a "rice supplì" not ARANCINI!!

  • what's Risotto?

  • Its 'italian' rice - of which there are 3 main varieties.

  • it's like a rice pudding, but savory.

    not just the rice itself.

the rice itself it called arborio.

  • i believe she is the host!

  • can we bake these instead of deep frying so its less calories?

  • I'd imagine so. Maybe you could spritz them lightly with oil so they get a bit crispy.

  • I think the chef on the show is very qualified to teach and to explain what he is doing, but they intentionally do not state everything thus making the second person appear useful. She probably was following a script in the questions she asked. I think they had two people just to make it more interesting. I will say that when Paula Deen talks about her cooking she is not nearly as fun as when there is another person there, so maybe they felt something like that in this case.

  • I see why the women is there! If she wouldnt of been there and asked all the questions we wouldnt of known how to make this dish!! The chef misse how much milk was supposed to be added to the risotto egg mixture>??? I agreee with Zanowin in the comment as well! ;)

  • He said he used 2/3 of a cup of milk.

  • Oh im sorry i meant, he didn't say how much heavy cream he added to the risotto and egg yok mixture!! lol I got mixed up with what I said. If you know how much heavy cream, please le me know! Thanks.

  • the cooks on this show dont seem to be very articulate. That is why I think she is there, to ask the questions us dumb dumbs (non chef's) need to know.
