The original has a muffler with 4 endpipes which is build in 90 degree to the rear bumper.

Although it has the M3 dash, mirros! and even the engine + compartment modifications.

Steering wheel aint M3, not the bumpers.

Nevertheless, they put some money into this.

Right, the M3 started of with straight 4 (E30 and E36), then 6 (E36 and E46) and now V8 engines (E92), BMW has no V6 (yet) as V6s are unefficient engines, although they might change that soon :P

Straight 6 cyls are the best engines imho, then V8 with lots of displacement, american muscles ftw !

E36 M3 never had a 4 cyl engine. 3.0l and 3.2l straight sixes were the ones powering the car. Also V6 isn't a unefficient. it just doesn't have the natural balance of the straight six. But in the other hand, V6's are shorter.

When I state an V6 as unefficient then I mean mostly because of the power weight ratio.

Sadly BMW never put a Turbo on their gasoline engines, thats a big loss of power.

Nowadays you can do a lot more to an V6 and make it a great engine, although I still dont like it :P.

Torque and smoothness on a straight 6 will always be greater.
