i love ja... but i didnt realize how good he was until later on. i admit, i hoped on fifty's bandwagon ..10 years later i see whos really the greater one && thats JARULE.
Ive always liked ja rule... he's an excellent lyricist...and most people who hate him dont have half the skill he has....but 50 dissed him and then the world turned on him...strait up
see I dont think it was so much 50 as Eminem backing 50 at that point in time EVERYBODY WAS ON EMINEMS dick HARDDDD. I think Eminem is one of the best emcees ever, but I think at that time people were on his dick way too hard, he even said so. Anyone beefing with Em was suicide. Jay and Em have that OG legend status now but back then they were like what Kanye and Wayne were before autotune. Not to take anythign away 'cause kanye's 808s was nice and Kanye is still insane with the flow.
wht are you talken about 50s old material was crazy.... are you from ny ? if not then dont keep going. 50s shit was just hard back then alot better then this new shit droppen
Power of the Dollar was crazy, Get Rich or Die Tryin' was crazy. What the fuck happened to him after??? Even this Okay you're right track, its cool, its alright, I like it, but it doesnt compare to his old shit. Curtis was certified garbage, massacre was mehhh. I hope this next album will have a classic feel, but I doubt it right now.
@TheAImightyBeAsT I've heard that before. Kind of sad that after only a few years he has run out of anything meaningful to put out there then. Then again with the current Hip-hop climate almost anyone can make money with a decent hook and a hot single.
trivashe2008 WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? Ja Rule is the farthest fro the greatest and did almost nothing to put Hip-Hop at the top. He is done. How is 2008 his year? This song came out in 2002.
although your somewhat right.ja rule did represent hip hop...id rather listen to ja rule then 90 percent of the main strean has to offer...i didnt realize how valuable he was in mainstrean till he was gone...
sooo true man, I feel pissed that I didn't catch on to how nice Ja was and I fell for 50s bulletproof image. Honestly though man if you take in Ja Rule's catalogue you see Ja is definitely one of the greatest.
@deeredd i wouldnt say gr8est but he was def good (ownd his 1st 3 albums) but 50 h8ed him, made a convincing case & had hottest music & da streets to back him up, while Ja was caught makin pop hits at dis point..which made da whole industry & fans choose sides. 2 add insult 2 injury 50 was da newest thing who was backd by Em (top sellin rapper) & Dre (top sellin producer)..Ja's mistake was tryin 2 "clap back" What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? u get Ja ruled lol
love this track.ja u will always be the greatest.the teenagers dont understand how u put hip hop at the top but we the late twenty's know how u made it better.2008 is your year so killem ja!!!!!
