guns as a whole i think should be criminalized in all countries, perhaps not for armed forced but for personal ownership in your own home. if you think owning a gun will keep you safe at night then your a fucking moron. all it takes is for the wrong person to get hold of one and it can mean a lot of pointless trouble, which is easy enough when your country has a god damn piece of paper written 210 years ago that allows you to keep your own lethal weapon, FUCKING RETARDED
that's extremely simplistic and shows a lack of knowledge. of the 611 homicides in Canada, only 24% were by gun, and most of these involved gangs and drug related criminal activity. if you wish to spend money saving Canadian lives, then focus on cancer (75,000 deaths in 2005) or heart disease (80,000 deaths in 2005) or the car (7,000) or by suicide (3,500) I want my tax dollars solving the big problems, not billions reducing the number of gun deaths by 20 or so
@oliviyo2 "“A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity”. Sigmund Freud- Kitchen knives can be used a lethal weapon, should we ban that?
@esh325 its different guns make killing easier. quick, bam, then ur done. throw out the gun. easy. you dont have to think about it meaning less cold hearted kids will kill
@poopmcscoopface By "throw out the gun" I assume you mean ban them? Germany has done that and they still have school shootings. If you are really determined to kill people or a person you'll find other ways to do it even if you don't have a gun. Look at the London bombings, they killed 54 and they didn't use a single firearm.
k 1st of all i live in Toronto wich has over a hundred murders a year so im pretty sure the facts arent totally right on here and maybe they have 11,000 gun murders but then again look at the population difference the whole of Canada doesnt make up New York State, ofcourse we arnt goin to have the same numbers as u plus gun stores arnt as common as they are in the states dont sugar coat other places to make the states seem worse, speak the whole truth
The standards of countries in the Middle East, South America and Africa are improving and are taking the same level of development as most EU or NAFTA memeber states, they are just a 50 years behind the rest of the world, making the same mistakes that we made who are we to lecture them. As for the CNN comment, all we get in the UK is Fox which is the biggest pile of bias bullshit i have ever seen
All of these events shown, Nazis, Japan and China, the French and British, all were long ago, nearly 70 years ago. Only America has shown stubborness to grow up, I dont want a gun and I wont stop anyone who wants one but the issue has to be raised that most Americans cant be trusted to act responsibly.
Whos got a higher unemployment rate now, eh?
