There is a recording of Taddei as Belcore with Gigli as Nemorino where Taddei sounds much better than here, nevertheless it´s wonderful to watch this video, including Bergonzi, Scotto, etc.JRT
Wonderful singing masterclass. This is a difficult aria, because of its "fioriture": Taddei delivers them impeccably, without the faintest trace of aspirates. In the trio, his singing of florid music is note-perfect.
