Great videos and equally great music, makes me wish I had gone to sea as a youngster, what are all the music tracks called?, any more videos from your travels round the world?
what do you do on the bridge when you are at sea because i am joining the merchant navy as a deck officer but i have always wanted to know what it is like on the bridge at sea
This is one of the most amazing, eye-opening vids I've seen on YouTube. Thanks so much! This has to be the closest anyone can come in today's world to the space travel we'll be doing in 100-200-300 years.
Hey, may I ask a question - I've not been on a big sea before, i've been offered a space on a container ship in October from Pusan to Long Beach - is the pacific likely to be rough at that time of year and do cargo ships usually feel stable?

@meinzyman I went to a nautical college and had to do an internship on board.. After I'm finished with my education I can become an engineer as well as an officer on the bridge.. I had a great time on board, seen a lot of the world!
@WNontour I live in Belgium, it's my dream to, going to the nautical college at Vlissingen. I'm in high school now, but I'm already looking out for my stage in Vlissingen!
@anotherelvis A container ship normally stays between 12 and 24 hours in port. When you're not on duty you can go ashore most of the time.. I was onboard as a cadet so I could go ashore in most of the ports.

@petergriffin422 You check on your radar's what the other vessels around you are doing. Checking your position, so you don't collide with an island.
And some other stuff, like weather observation's, keeping contact with the shore company etc.
