  • People just dont realize how heavy those cars were and they could still run like scolded dogs, Damn the fuel injected stingray the 413 were the Dads back then or Kings whichever you prefer but they ruled!!

  • Best Damn video ever!!!!

  • Awesome ending!!

  • yea, i enjoyed that. got to see the thunderbolt in there i think. love to see the cars leave!!

  • who is driving the blue and yellow car looks like a dart at .18

  • "Dog Bone" 64 Dodges rule!

  • I could swear that was my wife in the Sports Fury going to get McDonalds this morning! Classic '60's Mopar! The BEST Jerry! The BEST! (Only funny if you watch Seinfeld.)

  • simply put, MOPAR!

  • Nice twisty torque on that 65 Plymouth at 1:00. I love seeing those old girls launch!

  • awesome, just awesome. US muscle forever.

  • Every couple of seconds, I'm in love again!

The best wheelie is when the front tire stays still. That's impressive!

  • It's not annoying to me. Love it.

  • Nice~but vids are too short and get to be really annoying after 15 secs~

  • @mobeers1 There's a reason the videos are as short as they are. These videos are teasers for our Mopar event DVD's. If you want to see more, you have to go to our website and order the DVD's!

  • Thank you for this video!

  • Love mopar max wedge they made power. love the video thanks for posting.

  • Big block Mopars sound fantastic, nothing compares.

  • Love the sound of a MOPAR.

  • Man, good stuff, thanks for posting!

  • Actually, I like "all" of the old iron. I have seven vehicles.........the oldest, a '60 Wyllis

Jeep Wagon.........the youngest, a '88 Chevy Sport Van. I loved to see the Super Stocks run in the old days. Funny Cars are fun for a while, but usually, one always

runs off and leaves the other. Great Posting! Can you imagine the future............

Fartpipe Plastic cars compeating with piarate software tweeks. (Kinda like NASCAR)

  • Awesome video of mopars popping wheelies off of the start line.

  • loved the constant action, not a boring moment. Love being at the starting line when I got to the races, has the most action. The explosion of accelerating from a dead stop, wheels up and the slicks planted. The exhaust pounding it's beat thru your body! The only thing better is a healthy whiff of nitro!! I thought you did a great job! Awsome cars and awsome launches!!!!

  • Mopar or no car! Thanks for posting! I love that sound, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. LOL!!!

  • soo annoying that u dont show all race and times =(( ghaaa anger management in neeed!!1

  • MOPAR OR NO CAR

as me m8 comments allll the time

  • Are all of you youngsters drooling?

  • Love the video and the Mopars...should have my Challenger out next year watch for videos.

  • This is one boring ass video. Stalled Auto FTL

  • Jealousy will get you nowhere. Sounds to me like you're nothing more than a snot-nosed ricer punk with a stock Honda with a fart pipe. You've got a lot to learn about cars and even more to learn about respect. You're very typical of today's generation of worthless, clueless scum without a lick of common sense. Time to grow up and be a man, ya punk.

  • The reason it is boring is because I could jump in almost anyone of those cars and run within 2 tenths of what the owners drive them too. Pull to the line, hold the trans brake, release trans brake, steer. I dont have a honda.

  • I can't recognize the car at 0:42 the blue one. Is it a mopar?

  • That's one of the Pontiac Super Stockers that was running against the Mopars at the Monster Mopar Weekend a couple years back.

  • It's a 1962 Pontiac Catalina 2 dr. sedan.

  • Hecjk yeah! I bought a Mopar DVD at Wally World and the music was too much. Really drowned out the magical sound of the engines.

  • I drive the motorhome down to MATS every year. love that weekend!

  • Yup, Mopars At The Strip is an awesome event!

  • The finest cars EVER BUILT!!!

I don't know why, but I always find myself rooting for the Jesel WAR FISH (which I did not see in this video BTW.)

  • Thanks for checking out the video! I really dig these cars too. Both our 2008 and 2009 Mopars At The Strip / Las Vegas Part 2 Drag Racing DVD's have a fair amount of footage of the Jesel War Fish.

  • the fugly 1961 plymouth is in this!(im not calling it that, thats the name of the car)

  • Holy HoleShots, Batman !

  • Chrysler power man.

  • Great vid! I saw that last race with the Asphault Elephant in person at the Mopars at the strip in Vegas last year.

Was definitely the most exciting race of the weekend, at least that I saw.

I was so pissed that my camera was on still pics, instead of video for that race, but I did get a great still of that wheelstand.

    Thanks for this vid.

    Brought back some great memories.

  • Hey! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I've filmed a lot of nice wheelstands over the years but that one by the Asphalt Elephant was definitely the best! We're really looking forward to heading out west for this year's Mopars At The Strip. Are you going this year?

  • NO MUSIC! Thanks for the awsome audio! Whinning V8's are music enough for me!

  • Thanks! I know just what you mean. I know people who just have to put music in with their car videos cuz they think it makes the videos "more artistic". I did that a couple times but screw that. Hearing these old Max Wedges do their thing is much better than some stale old music! Thanks for checking out this video!

  • it get your adrenaline going!

  • I'll never get tired from this video

  • Back when MoPar owned drag racing!!

  • great video

  • heyy i saw donnie wilson!

  • Love the Max Wedges !!!!!!

  • LOVE IT!!

  • wow, that last one on the bumper was the "Asphalt Elephant" Big inch wedge powered '62 Dart.Fine car & not many around anymore.

  • Yup, I have a separate video posted with a little more in-depth coverage of that launch by the Asphalt E;ephant. Check it out!
