I honestly knew you were Canadian just by reading your comment.  This video has nothing to do with defeating Japan, and I can assure you the other 150,000 plus Americans who died in the 2nd world war were killed in the war with Japan. Go back and watch the video again, and after that post random apologies to youtubers from various countries who also lost people in that war.

Try watching "Unit 731" + see Japs biological + chemical warfare used on Allied POWS + read how they did autopsies on the living without anesthesia? Unit 731 developed Germ warfare + Chinese children were given candy + food laced with Anthrax. The reason the Japs hated the nukes is it did allow them save face by inflicting massive deaths on US Troops invading Japan. U Japs are lucky Hirohito surrendered.

This video is extremely disrespectful. As Americans we do not use our honored dead as leverage against complaints about our foreign policy. People (not just Americans) have the right to complain, and our leaders have the right to apologize for those complaints. Also as Americans, our sacrifices are meant to be selfless. This video infringes on that value by disrespecting the very rights that our servicemen died to protect. This is the arrogance that is spoken of.

I disagree. Though I would never make a video like this, I think this video serves as a reminder of how many Americans gave their lives to liberate a part of the world who is often oblivious to their sacrafice.
