Hi, I have this mic too, but everytime I tried to record my acoustic guitar, it's to quiet... do you have some preamp for this mic or something else??
@Bambytalica Hi, the levels are a bit quiet but with the mic level on full in windows and the mic boost on full (in the drivers for my soundcard) its a reasonable level. I plug the mic directly into my 'mic/line in'
I record on my laptop which is a sigmatel built in soundcard.
Try looking for a mic boost level in your soundscard drivers.
@DoAPooAtPauls Hi, thanks for replay so fast! I have all on full, I tried record with my laptop, desktop computer, even with external sound card (not profesional). Maybe is something wrong with my mic.. which is brand new.. oh, right, which software do you use for recording?
I haven't actually tried it myself but the range of a voice would be similar to acoustic guitar I think. The reviews of it that I read before buying said it was an excellent budget choice for vocals. I have been very impressed wit it so far. I think there were lots of reviews of it on amazon. Its very well built for te money and comes with lead. The only negative is the output seems slightly lower than most but its only a bit and still enough to be able to turn the preamp or input levels up.
Cheers Runae, much appreciated. If you want a copy of any of my vids to add your magic to I am happy to send them if you have the technology to overdub on top.
needs more practice... you have some of the chords wrong broha
