"BE THERE ! ! ! Be concerned about your brother. Either we go up together, or we go down together." If Dr. King was here ( And the SPIRIT that moved Him IS here) he would say what I am saying here: Do not vote for anyone who endorse and condone homosexuality and the murder of babies in their mother's womb! End of Story !
The point of the video is its warning to all people to be moral agents unto the LORD. Before you attempt to correct others make sure you understand the issues of life. Thank you very much.
Dr. King is speaking about "Black Outs and Economic Power". He is giving Black America instruction on how much economic power we have as a body. As he stated, we do not have to fight and argue, because when we use our dollars wisely the corporations will see their profits drops. He is not dealing with the issues you are talking about. I am not putting down what you said, just saying that it is off topic for this video. Peace.
@fatherhurley why not remove that misinformed individual's statement from the list of posts. i scrolled, read that and im done. Dr. King did not have the time to denounce homosexuality, nor would he concern himself with abortion so long as a greater evil existed. That first comment is a statement of a closeted homosexual who is so ashamed of his true nature he would make a statement as such. As a moderator the removal of such a comment is appropriate. the statement does nothing but distrac
I suggest you do some research because if you did, you would not think that James Earl Ray shot Dr. King. Even, as of late, the King family thinks that he was innocent. This is not the place to debate this issue, though. I'm simply suggesting that you do some research on this topic to truly understand the events surrounding his murder.

RandleE11,
I am very well aware that many people, including the King family, do not believe that James Earl Ray killed MLK. However, for the time being, someone deserves to be thanked for removing that pestilent, plagiarizing, Marxist whoremonger from the face of the earth and so for now, that credit goes to Mr. Ray.
Whomever voted my previous post down should really research what I said. You probably wouldn't believe what a court of law ruled in 1999. Of course this was never mentioned in the mainstream media.
It's one thing to die for others to start a movement. But it's another thing to die and no one else picks up the torch. I remember Christ telling the disciples to do what the Pharises were saying but not what they were doing. Alot of people preach a thing but don't do what they preach. To me that means you really don't believe what your saying yourself.
i want to truly thank you for posting this... this is the aspect of king i focus on in terms of discussing him... his consciousness began to shift in terms of black self-sufficiency around the time he met with minister elijah muhammad. this is the king i love. this speech (and actions) was what got him killed... the whites/government were like, "oh,NO HE DIDN'T!!!"
I LOVE hearing this speech! he knew he was gonna die, so he was like, man! i don't care, i'm gonna tell the truth!
MLK was a witness of Jesus. This speech very clearly illustrates that fact. MLK, like Jesus, knowing death was immenient, gave a departing sermon to instruct his people on how to continue the struggle for liberation. And just like Jesus his image has been twisted and is being used to further disenfranchise African people from American resources. African people could be free but too many of us dont know we are still enslaved.
When I first listened to the whole speech, I was shocked that all we hear generally hear are the last minute where he says, "I've been to the mountaintop and I've seen the promise land." The Promise Land will be reached when we follow his instructions in the early parts of the speech. Peace.
thank you for posting this because this is the speech that lead to his untimely demise he was talking about economic gain this is why you rarely hear this cus they dont want you hear this
We would be more powerful & richer if we pooled our resources as the immigrants do who come to the USA & Buy in bulk to stock their stores. We as a people must learn to Unite not only when it comes to commerce but as "A People"!!! Also, those who have made it should not forget from where they came!!PEACE
Thats one thing that i like about youtube is that we can hear some of the King speeches that we don't get a chance to hear all of the time. I listened to the whole "Why I am opposed to the war" speech for the first time and it could have very well been given today. thanks for uploading this. Keepem comming.
wow this is edited out of so many versions

Tomorrow the cattle (people) of America will celebrate the "life" of a plagiarist and a communist whoremonger.
I will celebrate someone else:
R.I.P. James Earl Ray, and thank you for all that you did.

harrietPIG,
Exposing the TRUTH makes me a "jerk"?
Perhaps it does to nigger beasts who live immersed in LIES, but to my racially aware WHITE brothers and sisters, it makes me HONEST.
I know, I know. Honesty isn't a nigger trait, and therefore you don't know what it is.
