WOW! I can't believe they actually made a life scale Gundam. Oh man I remember I used to watch this show when I came back from school on Cartoon Networks action animation block “Toonami”. Brings back long dead memories from the past that I buried deep inside. Wow I really have to thank Japan for all they have done for the past few decades and I’m sure that they will keep coming up with great animes and great new ideas. @yourpersonalspammer you just killed my inner child :'( But I have to admit I agree with what you said, this money could have been spent in a lot of more useful ways like feeding hungry children and so on. But isn't "dream" useful in it's own way ? I prefer to see that money spent on "dream" than seeing it spend on merciless killings like it could have been.

I mean I would understand if it were useful to fight a raging gozilla or such - but that's not going to happen. basicly, it's just another killing machine (not yet, but maybe someday). in the end it's a wet dream of the military industrial complex.. quite merciless. :-/

@yourpersonalspammer Yeah, I thought about that after posting my comment. I guess what I feel about that Gundam thing is what I felt about it as a child: "wow, itwould be really cool to get into that think and go around flying and stuff", but the fact that it a killing machine is right. This is just my feeling, but flying around in such a machine does not imply by itself killing anyone, in the same way that owning a gun and shooting at cardboard targets does not mean you want to kill anyone.

@Urusay true! but we're drifting off-topic.. i think they should have better invested the money into free energy devices or something more useful than a giant robotic statue. some things just ought to stay a dream and a gundam in my opinion is one of them.
