They prefer to listen to a song that repeats the same phrase over and over again and with all the profanity in it.

@RhakarkX I CAN make songs without a sweat. but that doesnt mean that the song has to have no heart. no real meaning behind the lyrics. no relationship between the song and the people listening. dont get me wrong. there are a lot of good songs out there. but none can compare to the art thats on the verge of being lost to rap, sex, drugs, money and whatever the "artists" nowadays are unknowingly poisoning our young ones with. @NALOBUILT808 Actually I have to disagree that music like this didn't disappear. To name a few artists. Daren Hayes- Who would have thought.... Remy Zero- Perfect Memory... SR71- Tomorrow... All American Rejects- It ends tonight... Five For Fighting- 100 years... I normally wouldn't include The Used, but I think if you listen to the lyrics you'll realize their lyrics have deeper meaning. The Used: All That I've Got... Daren Hayes: On The Verge of Something Wonderful. I think this is a good list.

Doesn't matter to me what color a persons skin is, if they have good lyrics, good tempo, and a great sound, chances are I will like it. Race means nothing to me. Hint's I am listening to Boys2Men, oh and... I am a white man... ^_~ But just for you. Jay Sean Ft. Lil Wayne Down is a decent example of modern good song from Black American singers.
