It was hard sitting there wishing the outs away through most of the game...then boone hit that shot(not too far from where I was sitting) and the place came off its foundation. Was a real tough loss....I saw some sox fans (women) actually crying. I tried to avoid the moronic yankee fans on the way out and the normal ones we wished good luck to. I was also @ game 6 in 04 when we got some revenge.

Game 7, the Red Sox were motivated, and I had a feeling on October 20th, 2004, that tonight was going to be the night, and there was no hour of torture. I still talk with people about it, and it was great, and to beat the Yankees in Yankee Stadium was wonderful, never forget the headlines from Boston papers, and I looked on the New York papers, and the city was in mourning. 2004 was a dedication to all of the Red Sox, Boston, and all of New England. I was 17 years old.
This is a great video, thank you very much, am a huge Red Sox fan. I will never ever forget where I was when the Red Sox won, and knocked the Yankees off. Down 0-3 in that series, I thought it was over, but you have to believe in them, and I think people knew they were due to win against the Yankees. It wasn't just for the 2004 Red Sox, but this was for all the Red Sox teams, and greats, that never beat the Yankees. Great moment, and the biggest in Boston's history. Still a great feeling.

@TexasPuertoRock I sleep fine at night whether the sox win or lose...somebody like you - the person that runs his/her mouth before their team even wins anything, and then is never seen again after they exit the playoffs early- probably doesnt deal so well....you probably didnt come out of your house for a month after the greatest choke in sports history by the yankees in 04......you want to talk about history when it comes to 27 rings but have a short memory ..."finding a way to win"=04 red sox.

@TexasPuertoRock ....I am a lifelong die hard sox fan...I was at game 7 in 03. It was hard sitting there wishing the outs away through most of the game...then boone hit that shot(not too far from where I was sitting) and the place came off its foundation. Was a real tough loss....I saw some sox fans (women) actually crying. I tried to avoid the moronic yankee fans on the way out and the normal ones we wished good luck to. I was also @ game 6 in 04 when we got some revenge.

@TexasPuertoRock and that game-the "bloody sock game" contained one of, if not THEE worst display of poor sportsmanship on the behalf of fans ever witnissed. When they called jeter back onto the field and took that run off the board, the fans threw so much garbage on the field (full bottles of water reached 2nd base) and francona had to remove his team from the field for their safety. Enter the riot police......props to the groundscrew for removing all the debris within minutes....b

@TexasPuertoRock yankee fans obsession with the red sox is and always has been a bit unhealthy. I have been going to sox/yanks games in the bronx since the 70's and there was never a shortage of "1918" t shirts and the like outside the park. I went to my wifes cousins house in NY and these people had more anti-sox stuff on the walls of their house than they did yankee stuff. I would never put anything with an NY in my house or wear any anti-NY clothes/hats. I do consider it a compliment thoug

@projectobject411 That's because its so sad that before 2004 the last time the Dead Sox won a championship was in 1918 and it is still sad. Now more than ever since the Red Sox pulled of the greatest collapse of all time giving up a 9 game lead in the wild card race. So so so sad. Oh well the Yankees will continue to succeed while the Red Sox keep failing and ailing. Now the manager is fired. Wow the Red Sox just crashed and burned BOOM!

Sad that the A's and Cards have more championships than your team and they aren't even that good of teams. You envy 27 because if you didn't your fans wouldn't keep calling local sports stations making suggestions what your team should do about the pitching among other problems. I hear it every night on the Fox Sports Network radio station. "Oh how come the Sox won't get Pineda from Seatte?" Or "We need to start spending big bucks and land a big name to Boston". Every night I hear Red Sox fans on the radio.

@TexasPuertoRock Gonzalez> Teixera, Pedroia=Cano, Jeter= incredibly overrated, I'll give you 3B, as disappointing as Crawford was, he's still better than Gardner, Ellsbury>Granderson, Sweeney will be better than Swisher, Papi is way better than Chavez at DH, and the rotation of Boston is definitely superior, though the Yanks have a better pen. Really, the only reason the Sox have NOT won the East the last three years was injury trouble. The Red Sox have more talent. Open mind.

HaVENT Paid much attentio to detroit and texas so these games will be interesting. up three games to none in the 04 ALCS and they choked it away....THAT was the best moment for one club and the worst for the other.....dont even try to argue the fact....

Game 7, the Red Sox were motivated, and I had a feeling on October 20th, 2004, that tonight was going to be the night, and there was no hour of torture. I still talk with people about it, and it was great, and to beat the Yankees in Yankee Stadium was wonderful, never forget the headlines from Boston papers, and I looked on the New York papers, and the city was in mourning. 2004 was a dedication to all of the Red Sox, Boston, and all of New England. I was 17 years old.

This is a great video, thank you very much, am a huge Red Sox fan. I will never ever forget where I was when the Red Sox won, and knocked the Yankees off. Down 0-3 in that series, I thought it was over, but you have to believe in them, and I think people knew they were due to win against the Yankees. It wasn't just for the 2004 Red Sox, but this was for all the Red Sox teams, and greats, that never beat the Yankees. Great moment, and the biggest in Boston's history. Still a great feeling.
