I imagine that each white ball is not an LED but rather a housing for an LED and the mysterious glow and shading effect is caused by the light being diffused by the balls??? can anyone confirm/deny? This really is an exciting device.

While researching led cubes I found this.. It simply took my breath away. Your use of movement and shading is simply magnificent. Implementation 10/10. The control and the animation of the guy putting on the coat is magnificent.

You should be very very proud of this..

Makes my 5x5 look like a monochrome monitor.
