  • how old is she here?

  • @Emythegleek

Lela is about 4mths here. I got her a little older than the youngest a breeder will let their kittens go as someone changed their minds.

:) I'm glad they did, obviously they didn't realise what a sweetie Lela is!

  • @LelaAndMitz Thanx! The same thing happened with us, where someone else changed ur mind so sept. 5 w'r bringing home 2 kittens(willie+harry) @ 14 weeks, both sable as well! Is your kitten european or american, im guessing european because of the nose but im not that smart at these things....... i have a cat thats burmese rite now @ 18years. Did u have any trouble when u first brought her home or did she acclimate to your house nicely? have a nice day-emy

  • @Emythegleek

European or American? Is there different strands of Burmese? I have no idea, I'm in Australia. How is the health of your 18yr old Burmese? I hope Lela lives a long long time, it's going to break my heart when she goes.. my lil snuggle bunny.. I think Lela adjusted to her new home well when I got her, she strutted around like she owns the joint. Poor Mitz my raggie boy (older) was the one that had to adjust and get use to a new kitty. Took him less then a week but plenty of hissing.

  • @LelaAndMitz yes there is, american burmese are small cats with more rounded heads, that were brought to europe and were bred with Oriental shorthair cats. the colors are practically the same but whatever.... sable is probably called brown or chocolate where you got her. The personalities seem to be the same tho, my cats sweet but bossy and loves 2 snuggle. we took her 2 the vet last week and they said she was great!(she had her blood tested and what-not) Ill finish this in anotherparacuzimoutof

  • 2 continue that paragraph- Another couple found her this year, one time when she went and escaped and they took her to the vet...who thought she was eight years old! they were ready to adopt her but we had plastered the whole town with signs, so we got her back. Sorry 4 my poor spelling I'm twelve and in a hurry........ look up 10-12 week old kitten and thats the face closest to my cats that i could find on youtube. Its 850 4 a kitten here in maryland and i was wondering how much u paid 4 yours?

  • @Emythegleek

:) Lela is cheeky and snugly. Snugly on her terms when she's decided it's cuddle time and she can be rather pushy about it (pushing hands with her head, and crying). She reserves a very cheeky side for my ragdoll boy Mitz, often picking play fights and pushing him out of his favourite spots to take a nap. His larger size doesn't deter her either, and she can't stand him getting any attention as she is the cutest kitty of dem all!! I forget how much I paid for her about $500-600.

  • that honestly sounds like a woodpecker lol

  • she sounds like a human snoring!!

  • 20yrs? Oh that gives me great hope, I dread the day I will have to be apart from Lela, I hope its a long long way away... :) Lela is a year and a half now and still my cheeky lil snuggle bunny!!! I often wake up to find her snuggled up with me, makes it an even greater challenge to get out of bed when she does...

  • I had a Burmese for 20 yrs. Her name was Vera... Lela was gorgeous as a kitten..She is a full grown sweetie by now and yes, Burmese are indeed "snuggle bunnies"

  • That's one blissed-out kitty :)

I wanted to reach out & pat her too!

  • my burmese is that loud when she purrs too! lol!

  • i think she might be ... happy and relaxing.. :P

  • Lela is such a delight, I would highly recommend her breed - burmese. I would suggest having two so they have company or another breed.

I also have a ragdoll and I would say he requires much more taking care of because of his long fur, although it is very nice to touch.

Lela is such a snuggle bunny, she had me melting from the first day. They are a very playful breed and she can be cheeky at times but I soon forget when she comes for the cuddles.

  • have always wanted 1, are they a handful

  • What a soothing noise!

  • Lol, such a happy kitty.

  • So cute and so loud =^w^=

  • happy happy

  • i want my kitty back stupid ppl made him run away =(

  • she's beautiful!
