I myself dont care about perks as ghost, or 3 frags, but what I hate are killstreaks that can kill you without you being able to defend yourself, like chopper gunner or gunship in black ops, dogs are fine with me, but I just hate those killstreaks =P.
I got bf3 too, great game, but really different from the cod games. I enjoy cod2, cod4 and black ops the most of the cod games.

My two cents... I want to play the MW3 single player, but I'm not going to spend $60 for a campaign that's 5 hours at the MOST. The BF3 campaign was total dog doo, and that's disappointing, but at least I'll get some replay value from the multiplayer. Call of Duty multiplayer has been the same for four years. Not buying it.
Yeah Im stuck too... I dont know if I should risk it and spend 60 $ on the release date or just wait till christmas time. I'm having a blast with BF3 and planning on getting Skyrim/Saints row 3 over modern warfare

@TheN0o0o0B Rage is a really fun single player FPS. So is Borderlands. I've also heard great things about Singularity. Halo: Reach is another a great title. But as far as multiplayer goes, I can't really recommend anything.

I am playing both cod and bf but I have to agree you that the most cods are almost the same. So atm I am only playing bf3 and nothing cod. But Im thinking of getting mw3 to my xbox/ps3 (which should I choose). One side of me says "get mw3, it will be real much fun" and the other "dont get mw 3, you already have bf3 and thats better".
I got Battlefield 3 and love it! I'm thinking about get mw3, but mostly since all my friends are getting it. I don't like that it's the same as the other cods and I already have black ops and cod4, so getting another cod game is not a high point for me. If someone can convince me otherwise then I'll get it, but no way am I getting it when it comes out. I'm going to watch a lot of reviews once the game is out before buying it
@iAMChozoLord The reality is it's just Xbox vs PS3 all over again. PS3=BF3 Xbox 360=Modern Warfare 3. As a owner of both, you have to admit Battlefield is the much better game, but that's not what people want. MW3 is getting so much hype, it's ridiculous. I am going to invest in MW3 because my friends are going to play it. It is much for fun with other people to play with you.....
Quick-scope like a nerd? Call of Duty is for jocks or self-proclaimed connoisseurs. In all honesty, I don't want Battlefield to top CoD in sales, because is Call of Duty is defeated, guess where all of the trolls and jerks will go?
I'd really prefer that BF3 players be seasoned vets who have past experience with Battlefield. Perhaps that's what the PC version is for, as it seems Call of Duty has abandoned its dedicated PC community.

(Part 2) My opinion about how the graphics are a lot better in BF3 is, well frankly it doesn't matter much. I know it's a lot cooler to have some games with better graphics, but i wasn't complaining about graphics when i was jumping on turtles in Mario or Mining up ores in Minecraft... Call of duty is more of an "arcade shooter", because the last time i checked, you cant hold two magnums in your hand and fire them at ludacris speeds, while BF3 is more of a realistic shooter.

I think a reason you find it more monotonous is because you've played it since the beginning, and the reason I'm not bored, is because my first CoD is Mw2, and I got that game months after it came out. @TheDragonSlaayer It's the fact that there is a new CoD every year and they don't add too much to it. Activision is milking this series like crazy. There are other series with plenty of games, but over the span of a longer time. The Metroid series for example is fantastic.

I completely agree. I have only bought COD4 and MW2 and I didn't buy Black Ops. This leaves one game in between each time. Why do I do this? Precisely the same reason: I don't want to spend all that money each year and frankly, each game tends to last 2 years for me in great experience I play on average 2 hours a day.

@IAMLegendJK Dedicated servers = No lag, basically. Instead of the game choosing a host (which is why you get host migration when the host quits), the game has a dedicated server which is a neutral connection for everyone.
Your video does a good job at demonstrating what is wrong with COD. how many times could you have planted, but elected not to? Move to 4:54 as the most obvious point. Everyone is in it for kill streaks and crazy high kill count scores - even in game types that are objective based. Everyone wants youtube immortalizaion. This has become so pervasive, that's it's just EveryManforHimselfofDuty. And every iteration promotes it even more. Thankfully, Battlefield hasn't gone this route
@rbyrne1975 I'm usually a team player, but we knew that the enemy was bad enough to allow us to do this to get some extra kills. Teammates wanted some extra XP so I agreed to it. Whenever I play Domination, I always try to triple cap the flags. I hate it when people only go for the kills and don't play the objective. I'm going to be a huge team player when BF3 comes out.

@KingKoopaHD No host advantage. Everyone is playing off of the same connection (dedicated servers) which result in far less lag. If there is any lag it's completely minimal and hard to notice.

You can definitely have fun if a game is balanced, not just with something being incredibly abused like n00b tubing/QS'ing in MW2. To me, what really makes games fun is variety and balance in every available asset there is. Quality and quantity. Not just 1 or 2 things taking the spotlight and making other setups worthless. BO helped in that aspect but there are still issues with other things stated in this video. This is when I guess you have to bring Battlefield into consideration.

You have a better chance at getting a 4 man spray with Extended Mags in Black Ops when you're using Flak Jacket then you do in MW2 with all the One Many Army.

I mean in this gameplay I uploaded here, it definitely seems to be fast and crazy, but that's just me. CoD4 was pretty balanced for the most part and that game is up there with Black Ops for me.
@YoungImpactStudio By fast I hope you mean smooth. Modern Warfare 2 is a lot smoother (the movement, etc.) than Black Ops, but every weapon in that game kills in like 3 bullets. Everything is so easy there. Black Ops is much more balanced, some guns require skill, unlike in Modern Warfare 2. Grow on any gun and you'll do good.

@YoungImpactStudio Well I don't understand how people can go back to MW2 with how One Man Army and Grenade Launchers nearly make playing online impossible. I still play it occasionally, but it's no where near as balanced as Black Ops. Even if MW3 is better than BO, there will always be that one perk or gun that is better than all the others that people will discover a few weeks after the game will come out. Then all those big commentators will start to complain about it just like every year.

And I know Dice won't announce the next BF game a couple of months after BF3 comes out. They will let it soak in instead of shoving the next title down our throat as soon as possible.

As a owner of both, you have to admit Battlefield is the much better game, but that's not what people want. MW3 is getting so much hype, it's ridiculous. Quick-scope like a nerd? Call of Duty is for jocks or self-proclaimed connoisseurs. In all honesty, I don't want Battlefield to top CoD in sales, because is Call of Duty is defeated, guess where all of the trolls and jerks will go?
I'd really prefer that BF3 players be seasoned vets who have past experience with Battlefield. Perhaps that's what the PC version is for, as it seems Call of Duty has abandoned its dedicated PC community.

@iAMChozoLord I personally think that what is currently happening to Call of Duty falls under the blame of those at Activision with the mindset of Bobby Kotick, who devote themselves to monetizing a franchise rather than fleshing it out. It's the same reason why toys that we've known about since the turn of the millenium are still selling well - because every year hundreds of thousands of kids hit the point in their lives where they want one, but others recognize the lack of change over time.

A very mature commentary, and I totally agree with you. You clearly understand the factors involved in the new generation of FPS that are coming, and you explained them very well. Especially considering that MW3 will have nothing new to offer, in comparison to their competition. Personally I own BF BC2, but all my friends own CoD, so you can assume that I have played it long hours, too, so I have the experience to compare both without any bias. (Part 2) My opinion about how the graphics are a lot better in BF3 is, well frankly it doesn't matter much. I know it's a lot cooler to have some games with better graphics, but i wasn't complaining about graphics when i was jumping on turtles in Mario or Mining up ores in Minecraft... Call of duty is more of an "arcade shooter", because the last time i checked, you cant hold two magnums in your hand and fire them at ludacris speeds, while BF3 is more of a realistic shooter.

(Part 1) Wow, you really opened my eyes with this commentary. I think a reason you find it more monotonous is because you've played it since the beginning, and the reason I'm not bored, is because my first CoD is Mw2, and I got that game months after it came out. Before that i played CoD4, but only single player at my uncle's lol. I mean, If I played any series of games where it's as similar as the CoDs and there are 8 of them? And they will still keep coming? Of course i'd be bored!

I completely agree. I have only bought COD4 and MW2 and I didn't buy Black Ops. This leaves one game in between each time. Why do I do this? Precisely the same reason: I don't want to spend all that money each year and frankly, each game tends to last 2 years for me in great experience I play on average 2 hours a day.

Your video does a good job at demonstrating what is wrong with COD. how many times could you have planted, but elected not to? Move to 4:54 as the most obvious point. Everyone is in it for kill streaks and crazy high kill count scores - even in game types that are objective based. Everyone wants youtube immortalizaion. This has become so pervasive, that's it's just EveryManforHimselfofDuty. And every iteration promotes it even more. Thankfully, Battlefield hasn't gone this route

@rbyrne1975 I'm usually a team player, but we knew that the enemy was bad enough to allow us to do this to get some extra kills. Teammates wanted some extra XP so I agreed to it. Whenever I play Domination, I always try to triple cap the flags. I hate it when people only go for the kills and don't play the objective. I'm going to be a huge team player when BF3 comes out.

You can definitely have fun if a game is balanced, not just with something being incredibly abused like n00b tubing/QS'ing in MW2. To me, what really makes games fun is variety and balance in every available asset there is. Quality and quantity. Not just 1 or 2 things taking the spotlight and making other setups worthless. BO helped in that aspect but there are still issues with other things stated in this video. This is when I guess you have to bring Battlefield into consideration.

@YoungImpactStudio By fast I hope you mean smooth. Modern Warfare 2 is a lot smoother (the movement, etc.) than Black Ops, but every weapon in that game kills in like 3 bullets. Everything is so easy there. Black Ops is much more balanced, some guns require skill, unlike in Modern Warfare 2. Grow on any gun and you'll do good.

@riderazor05 No I'm not. Who are you to say what I'm going to buy or not buy? I'm not one of the people to say something like this about every CoD every year. I've been hyped for every CoD since CoD4. But not with MW3 sadly.

@EntishGaming Can you send me a source of where you got this information? I don't think Activision or anybody at Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer Games have mentioned anything about dedicated servers unfortunately.
