If it took 100,000 years to domesticate wild wolves into dogs and make them man's best friend, panda's being more docile, maybe in half or one third of that time we might be seeing panda as a pet in our homes. So your descendants might be doing just that in the future.

I'm afraid I don't agree with you, hakugan.
Your expression is as if MeiMei is a productive machine to bear still more cubs.
Pandas are not products, they are living beings like us.
Of course, it would be a piece of big & good news to me if Meimei had another newborn.
I think most pandafans in japan will miss their strong & unique PERSONALITIES like human beings.
We don't miss the number of pandas in Japan.
Anyway, I have to appreciate what you've shared this nice video.

Yes. Both born on Sept. 8, 2003. Their mother has a pretty good record when it comes to bearing twins. She had another twin last December.
