  • If you worked any job, and they told you to do something, would you refuse? Railroading is like any other job. Just because the quantity is little doesn't mean it isn't worth doing. A lot of idiot yardmasters and trainmasters would defer moving a single car because it didn't seem justified. You get enough idiots like that and you get companies that go bankrupt or shutdown. You still pay car hire-per diem on single cars. That single box could cost a whole lot of boxes to sit on it. Mty or loaded.

  • cool

  • Haha, all that way with an SD9 just for one hi-cube boxcar! :P

  • Yeah, sweet video! What a lovely day for railfanning too! Poor old girl needs a paint job though.

  • Great video.. Nice seeing the old SD9's.. Not much on here for them.. Thanks

  • Wow....I think he could of had a helper on that big long 2 mile train...He was really struggling their....ha ha ha ha...That has to be one of the shortest ELS trains I ever seen run on that line....Nice catch

  • it was rocking alot at 2:08

  • Some of those spots look like they should be FRA Excepted track. No locomotive should lean THAT much on any piece of track.

  • I think that stretch is, which is why they slow down so much. Most of the line is FRA Class 2 IIRC.

  • he was leaning alot!!!!!!!!

  • they dont make them like they used too

  • had me worried when he started leaning too the left must be some old track

  • Yeah, I think the track is bad there and the engine's suspension probably ain't what it used to be either.
