I used close to 100 grams of abv mids to make butter...and the sugar cookies I made are pretty potent. I will have to try oil one of these times..does it matter what kind of veg. oil? I know the butter is suppose to be unsalted.
@Aspire85 When cooking cakes and brownies one quick and easy way to see if the brownies are done is to take a toothpick and push it into the cake or brownie. If it comes out clean, with no drippy batter, then your brownies or cake is done. Enjoy!

Dude, your recipe was great my only problem was when it was time to take them out of the pan, they were stuck!! I was still able to keep them all, they just looked a lil rustic. My suggestion for the recipe is to use baking cups or cupcake wrappers.
nice tutorial man, I did this same thing with some chocolate chip cookies. I used a total of 56 grams and 2 sticks of butter (couldent afford the olive oil). Wow man did these definitly turn out satisfactory.

this is my second time making them and this time i weighed out all my vaped herb and it was over 30 gs. the first time i made them i was surprised how good they turned out! all my bud is wayyy darker and more burnt then yours and i've had it stored for months and they still turned out dankalicous and got everyone super faded. is there a reason you just duped the vaped bud right into the bowl? i usually add mine to just the oil and strain it out afterward. i've heard from other people that if you just dump the bud into the mix, you end up with little pieces of plant matter. did you do something besides grind it up really well to avoid this?

@jumpman3210 I do not think overtime the remaining active chemicals in browns(or already been vaped bud) would simply dissipate from the bud... but I could definitely be wrong.

he uses 26 grams, i had about half that and just did everything he said just with a little less of every ingredient, i used half a bag of brownie mix and about half of the olvie oil and eggs he says to add, they turned out AMAZINGGG! great video kads, very helpful
maybe a stupid question, but does this give off a noticeable "recognizable" smell? Vital info if your only options are dorm hall oven or parents' kitchen...

It seems every brownie mix on the market these days recommends vegetable oil instead of the stick of butter they used to recommend. Any reason you use olive oil instead?
Have you tried mashing up the AVB with a mortar and pestle? I would think any extra surface area would help with chemical extraction. I may give that a shot.

@vaporbros Alright so I put 11 grams of vaped herb into the batch along with the extra egg/extra oil. cooked at 280. I came out with about 15 brownies so I guess each had the potency of about .8. Anyway I had 2 on an empty stomach and WOW. I even had a third one later on to really test them out. Eventually they put me to sleep. umm, just putting it out there, but post vape bud is ultra non-potent. that is why you vape it; to sublimate the delta-9 tetrahyrocanibinol (THC) and leave the much less useful CBDs behind. tried a 15g batch, but they were grainy and i just got a minor buzz. why not use good buds?
I beg to differ. Shold hang out with me and try my post vape brownies I make. Now have over 50g saved up. I've never made a post vape batch that was under 20g myself. Believe me; they are super ultra double mega amazing potent. So much so that my brownies have left people never eating brownies again, because they were way in over there heads when I told them to "only eat about a dime sized bite" and they ended up eating the whole brownie - over 8 normal doses.
@vaporbros finally tried the suggestion, made a batch with 45g, and now i am left eating my words. Insanely uber-potent, left me and 5 friends stoned for 5 hours. We didn't prepare for it, because we all still thought it wouldn't work, and the non-preperation turned out to be a bad idea. Ultra potent, sorry to have doubted the technique.
The grainy taste comes from not adding an extra egg. The extra egg makes the brownies take a more cakelike feel to them, completely 100% masking the grainy texture. Trust me, can't even tell they are there (as long as you dont cook with stems)
Do you make oil with Caput Mortuum ? Caput Mortuum is a latin term used in alchemy to describe worthless remains. The stuff you have after Sublimation of Green Lion. Sublimation is the process of changing matter from a Solid state to a Gas state while skipping the Liquid state completely. You know it as Vaping.
I do not make oil with Caput Mortuum. Instead I just add it straight to the mix or anything else you are making. You can actually eat post vape on it's own and gain a nice headspace. I find the oil step is a waste of time and doesn't help with potency...in fact I think with postvape you actually lose potency when turned into oil.
I did the oil method for years until just straight adding it into the mix. With the spent herbs it works great.

Yeah, it will be pretty light of a feeling, but you can eat more than one. I usually drop in over 40 grams per batch myself, my brownies are killer. 10g might work. give it a try. Won't know unless you try I suppose.
I am guessing there is still a little bit of confusion. What I want to do is, 1. Take 7 grams of herb. 2. Activate it like you did in the green dragon video. 3. Not doing anything with alcohol, take the activated herb and add to brownie mix. 4. Cook brownie mix.

Stomach pain means you didn't decarboxylize your herb enough (the process which ecess carbon is released). The extra carbon can lead to stomach aches. Use Google to find different techniques for decarboxylization).
7 gram batch of brownies are pretty good, you can get like 14 .5 brownies and thats usually enough to get someone medicated, but for those who have a high tolerance i would maybe eat 2 brownies, definately should give a try if your interested, gives a very heady heady buzz.
I just made some and I do feel a buzz, I am not blazed, but I vape my herb till its darker in color, so there is less THC left in there. Hey Kads, if I took 1/4 oz and did the green dragon thing to it, then used it to make brownies, will that work good?
I tend to vape my until it turns brown,m but still has good green hints to it. The less you vape = more potent the brownies will be. Also, if you used your leftover green from green dragon, already extracted with everclear, than you are also using something that isn't as potent as it could be (zero green dragon extraction). But, good to hear this worked for you! :)
can you use post-vaporized plant material? I heard somewhere that a small but worthwhile amount of active compound remain in fully vaporized material.

Alright man, it's been almost 2 hours... I defied your instructions and ate 2 and just moments ago took a buffer hit of some honey and ate another brownie. Other than that, I have used nothing else in 24 hours.
I'm a veteran and usually medicate quite heavily and can honestly say that 2 brownies was probably exactly how much I needed, but I could see where it would be too much for others.
They work great, I see this tray lasting me a few days.
Rockin! Tolerance is different for everyone. The brownies I make I give out as gifts to friends and sometimes those friends have given it to friends that rarely smoke and it makes them think they're tripping. Glad to know that 2 revaped brownies does the trick. Have fun with that bro!

Yes, adding more oil would have made them much more effective. Also; you should have exposed the herb to heat before adding them to the mix to help activate the herb as well as remove the excess carbon (to prevent extreme stomach pains).

For vape stuff: no: It's an unnecessary step. Just add it in. Trust me; it works SO well. I used to cook with oil for years and after I tried just adding it in: I haven't looked back.

I used to filter it out but found it took away from potency. I can't taste the herb at all. Just add an extra egg. It REALLY helps make the texture more cake like.

These still do have LOTS of THC left. Smoking herb kills off a lot of THC. Vaporizing is a MUCH more effective and conservative way to get blitzed. And my brownies are killer dude. Most of the time I make this recipe with 40 grams. Only takes a piece the size of a nickle to humble you.

The special ingredient looked pretty green for having been run through a vape.... I take it you do it at a real low temp setting? Like around 9 o'clock on the dial?
So once a good friend of mine said those exact same words and proceeded to eat 4 brownies (which were triple strength compared to the video brownies). As he was skating home he noticed he was moving slower and slower. Eventually he was completely puzzled as to why he couldn't skate anymore. After walking the remaining 4 miles home he sat on his couch, and said, "Oh Yeeeeah...". Then he fell asleep for 6 hours, woke up, was completely blazed, and slept for 14 more hours. True story.
A personal favourite recipie of mine is to make a good salsa/guacamole with what you like in it and making a weed burrito with the chopped bud mixed in the salsa or guacamole. This would also work with tacos or as a dip for nachos...
Look around for proper yields in recipies posted on the net and don't go too hardcore on the bud either.
Note that you've already cooked the meat and other stuff and just lightly toasting the taco shell or the pita wraps. Try it out and enjoy!

he uses 26 grams, i had about half that and just did everything he said just with a little less of every ingredient, i used half a bag of brownie mix and about half of the olvie oil and eggs he says to add, they turned out AMAZINGGG! great video kads, very helpful

It seems every brownie mix on the market these days recommends vegetable oil instead of the stick of butter they used to recommend. Any reason you use olive oil instead?
Have you tried mashing up the AVB with a mortar and pestle? I would think any extra surface area would help with chemical extraction. I may give that a shot.

@vaporbros Alright so I put 11 grams of vaped herb into the batch along with the extra egg/extra oil. cooked at 280. I came out with about 15 brownies so I guess each had the potency of about .8. Anyway I had 2 on an empty stomach and WOW. I even had a third one later on to really test them out. Eventually they put me to sleep. Great recipe Kads, to think that some ppl throw their vaped buds out!!!???

I had about an even amount of indica and sativa vaped herb so its a very balanced feel. Anyway, for someone that vapes evry day, eat 1 or 2 at this strength to get couched. I had 3 and got the best sleep of my life lol.

umm, just putting it out there, but post vape bud is ultra non-potent. that is why you vape it; to sublimate the delta-9 tetrahyrocanibinol (THC) and leave the much less useful CBDs behind. tried a 15g batch, but they were grainy and i just got a minor buzz. why not use good buds?

I beg to differ. Shold hang out with me and try my post vape brownies I make. Now have over 50g saved up. I've never made a post vape batch that was under 20g myself. Believe me; they are super ultra double mega amazing potent. So much so that my brownies have left people never eating brownies again, because they were way in over there heads when I told them to "only eat about a dime sized bite" and they ended up eating the whole brownie - over 8 normal doses.
Believe me. they work. Try again.

@vaporbros finally tried the suggestion, made a batch with 45g, and now i am left eating my words. Insanely uber-potent, left me and 5 friends stoned for 5 hours. We didn't prepare for it, because we all still thought it wouldn't work, and the non-preperation turned out to be a bad idea. Ultra potent, sorry to have doubted the technique.

The grainy taste comes from not adding an extra egg. The extra egg makes the brownies take a more cakelike feel to them, completely 100% masking the grainy texture. Trust me, can't even tell they are there (as long as you dont cook with stems)

Do you make oil with Caput Mortuum ? Caput Mortuum is a latin term used in alchemy to describe worthless remains. The stuff you have after Sublimation of Green Lion. Sublimation is the process of changing matter from a Solid state to a Gas state while skipping the Liquid state completely. You know it as Vaping.

This is my new favorite comment ever.
I do not make oil with Caput Mortuum. Instead I just add it straight to the mix or anything else you are making. You can actually eat post vape on it's own and gain a nice headspace. I find the oil step is a waste of time and doesn't help with potency...in fact I think with postvape you actually lose potency when turned into oil.
I did the oil method for years until just straight adding it into the mix. With the spent herbs it works great.

Here's what I do
take 2.5- 5 grams of vaped bud
1/4 cup of canola or olive
combine
leave in a place for 24 hours or more and add it to store bought brownie mix man

Yeah, it will be pretty light of a feeling, but you can eat more than one. I usually drop in over 40 grams per batch myself, my brownies are killer. 10g might work. give it a try. Won't know unless you try I suppose.

I am guessing there is still a little bit of confusion. What I want to do is, 1. Take 7 grams of herb. 2. Activate it like you did in the green dragon video. 3. Not doing anything with alcohol, take the activated herb and add to brownie mix. 4. Cook brownie mix.
I am just wondering if 7 grams would be enough for 1 box of brownies.
I ate 2 brownies this morning and felt the same as before, so I think I didnt have much THC left in there.... o well, next time golden dragon ;)

Yesterday and today my stomach has been hurting, I am not going to eat any brownies tomorrow to see if it doesnt do it, if it doesnt then I am going to eat 1 the next day and see how I feel...

Stomach pain means you didn't decarboxylize your herb enough (the process which ecess carbon is released). The extra carbon can lead to stomach aches. Use Google to find different techniques for decarboxylization).

7 gram batch of brownies are pretty good, you can get like 14 .5 brownies and thats usually enough to get someone medicated, but for those who have a high tolerance i would maybe eat 2 brownies, definately should give a try if your interested, gives a very heady heady buzz.

I just made some and I do feel a buzz, I am not blazed, but I vape my herb till its darker in color, so there is less THC left in there. Hey Kads, if I took 1/4 oz and did the green dragon thing to it, then used it to make brownies, will that work good?

I tend to vape my until it turns brown,m but still has good green hints to it. The less you vape = more potent the brownies will be. Also, if you used your leftover green from green dragon, already extracted with everclear, than you are also using something that isn't as potent as it could be (zero green dragon extraction). But, good to hear this worked for you! :)

hey man, i sadly don't have a vape, but you can do this with fresh bud right? i know most people get stems and bud and just extract the thc in to olive/veg oil while its being heated i was wondering if you could just skip that whole process and do what u did in this video with bud/kief/oil/whatever...and how much would you recommend to use if i did that..love your vids man, makes me really wish i had a vape=O

31 grams dry vaped bud, 1/4 cup extra oil (from a half cup) and an extra egg added.

I'm gonna do my best to keep you updated and not spam your video with comments at the same time. Just ate one of the 15 servings made, considering eating another one just because (it was medical grade before hand, and I've not medicated all day... I won't blame you when I start to melt and soil myself, I promise).
I'm really quite excited to see how this turns out, I want to believe you so much but I'm somewhat skeptical.

Alright man, it's been almost 2 hours... I defied your instructions and ate 2 and just moments ago took a buffer hit of some honey and ate another brownie. Other than that, I have used nothing else in 24 hours.
I'm a veteran and usually medicate quite heavily and can honestly say that 2 brownies was probably exactly how much I needed, but I could see where it would be too much for others.
They work great, I see this tray lasting me a few days.

Rockin! Tolerance is different for everyone. The brownies I make I give out as gifts to friends and sometimes those friends have given it to friends that rarely smoke and it makes them think they're tripping. Glad to know that 2 revaped brownies does the trick. Have fun with that bro!

I made a brownie batch once, the brownie mix only instructed me to put a teaspoon of oil in (no butter). I added 15g of regular weed and they turned out decent, 1(out of 8 servings) made me decently high. Would it of been better if i added more oil? Should i of vaporized it first? what does that do? Could someone please respond to this? cheers.

Yes, adding more oil would have made them much more effective. Also; you should have exposed the herb to heat before adding them to the mix to help activate the herb as well as remove the excess carbon (to prevent extreme stomach pains).

For vape stuff: no: It's an unnecessary step. Just add it in. Trust me; it works SO well. I used to cook with oil for years and after I tried just adding it in: I haven't looked back.

I used to filter it out but found it took away from potency. I can't taste the herb at all. Just add an extra egg. It REALLY helps make the texture more cake like.

These still do have LOTS of THC left. Smoking herb kills off a lot of THC. Vaporizing is a MUCH more effective and conservative way to get blitzed. And my brownies are killer dude. Most of the time I make this recipe with 40 grams. Only takes a piece the size of a nickle to humble you.

So once a good friend of mine said those exact same words and proceeded to eat 4 brownies (which were triple strength compared to the video brownies). As he was skating home he noticed he was moving slower and slower. Eventually he was completely puzzled as to why he couldn't skate anymore. After walking the remaining 4 miles home he sat on his couch, and said, "Oh Yeeeeah...". Then he fell asleep for 6 hours, woke up, was completely blazed, and slept for 14 more hours. True story.

A personal favourite recipie of mine is to make a good salsa/guacamole with what you like in it and making a weed burrito with the chopped bud mixed in the salsa or guacamole. This would also work with tacos or as a dip for nachos...
Look around for proper yields in recipies posted on the net and don't go too hardcore on the bud either.
Note that you've already cooked the meat and other stuff and just lightly toasting the taco shell or the pita wraps. Try it out and enjoy!
