I did this using a rayon shirt that was too small for me and I loved the way it turned out (I used regular office depot scissors)! When my mom saw my shirt she grabbed me by the hand, took me to my father, and said "Look at what your daughter did to her shirt!" I then felt red hot (because it was the first time I ever cut up a shirt and I was concerned that she didn't like it). I was thinking that I was about to get scolded but instead my mom wanted to show my dad because she loved the shirt!!

IAMX and Sneaker Pumps, nice choice in music. I love these videos, espeically the braided shirts, it really works well for post-gothic (or neo-gothic) that still looks high end with out being expensive. Granted, my colour scheme will be more black, grey and navy. :D

Tip for those trying this with an oversized men's shirt: The collar's knit makes it difficult to use that part. Your best best is to use the edges of the sleeves you cut off. :]
