Very little to go on here, but given Omar's emotional state and his non-responses, I'd say he was somewhere between genuine demoralized mental stress and torn by his rudimentary training to resist (in this instance using crying to illicit sympathy and reduce questions asked of him). Were he abused in any way, it would be the interrogator's obligation to report such abuses. However, given this is Canadian Intel talking, there were perhaps other people involved prior. er no here in the west are laws are derived from secular thinking. The first amendment makes sure that religion is seperate from government. The same is true of most of europe since the enlightenment.
