@AphroditeEros33 Hallo, my friend: Sorry you had trouble with the video. I tried it and it worked fine. Try this first: Play the video and slide the dot on the bar to around 18:30 and see what happens. If it gets stuck again, I will cut off the first part and send you the stretch from 18:35 on. You are missing Moscow.

@PA777van You know, you're right but, aren't we doing the same thing? I never see any tours through New York going to Harlem or the bad parts of the Bronx.

@Bernie1927 I have "not yet" been to Russia, so I cannot comment on how they are 'putting on' a good show for the tourist. I totally agree with you, Bernie that all over the world, touristic areas are made up nicely. I think nowadays there are some tours to Harlem (z.B. Apollo Theater, Gospel music@ churches ) and the other day I saw on TV that there was a bus tour visiting really bad gang star area in CA.

You're very lucky to have been able to visit Russia. My fathers family is originally from Russia but I know nothing about them from before they came to America. Those wooden structures are amazing. Considering the humidity, they must have been rebuilt many times over the years.

Hi LynxChan, My dad's family was also from Russia and as you,I know nothing about their lives,how odd. This video altered my impression of Russia as a dark, oppressive, dreary, wasteland.Maybe I was associating the country with my relatives :0
