  • wow, what great and rare footage, thanks for sharing it!

  • @PaulieSinco Great that you know what the situation was. I didn,t know that you were there too. What a stupid thinking of you. These Reddeers never had seen me becouse I was sitting under a camouflagegenet. They were disturbed by other people so don,t tell rubbish.

  • @borninfreedom Ok that can be true... I'm taking it back

  • very interesting

  • oh no! D: poor doe! I think she was okay though, sad she just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, it obviously was not an attack, if you look you can see the weight of her bringing the stag's head down before she rolls over and over :( hard to tell if she could survive this one or not

but BIG well done on getting such UNBELIEVABLE footage, definatley once in a life time, you should enter this footage somewhere

  • question can u bowhunt over there? that is a frigin huge stag wish we had stags like that in aus. ur very lucky if u get an 8 by 8 let alone 6x6

  • @ash6248 I hate bowhunt and I am glad that it is forbidden in my country.

  • @borninfreedom that sucks considering its a fair bit better for the environment and not to mention the animal itself considering a razor sharp broadhead cant be felt like when u slice ur finger or something with a razor sharp knife. they run on adrenaline until blood loss takes hold or lake of oxygen and they pass out

  • @ash6248 Have you ever been shot with an arrow? I haven't but I have a hunter friend who has. The arrow went into muscle and managed to miss major arteries. He still almost bled to death but he said it was painful and that he couldn't imagine how much more painful (and deadly) it would have been if he'd been shot in the body cavity.

  • @elisa9994 Only by rifle in my country but hunting for pleasure must be stopped and only hunting by a professional hunter. Animals are no toys!!!

  • I think to it was an accident. Rare footage , very special.... Dramatic moment..hmm I think maby the deer did not get too much hurt even if it looked very bad. Those deers are solide and i guess able to take some punch. Hopefully it did not get too much hurt. hmm I also noticed how the male deer jump high not to stamp upon her. Nice and very special dramatic clip :-)

  • man you could start up an outfitting/guiding camp for red deer!!

  • That looks like an elk to me. not a deer

  • @anthler24 It is a deer, a Red deer. We don't have elk in the Netherlands. I filmed this in the woods were I live.

  • @borninfreedom you live in the woods?

  • @anthler24 Elk are deer. The red deer is in the same family as Elk as well as Roe, Moose, White-tailed and reindeer. The Elk is a bit bigger than a the red deer.

  • @anthler24 How is that an elk?! :D

  • spox

  • @dziadek1031 ?????

  • I think one of the hinds accidentally got herself caught in the stag's antlers. He didn't know untill she hit the ground.

  • Must have been caught cheating...

  • i've seen a stag in the wild with three legs the missing one had been shot off by a hunter. the stump had healed up fine he had five points on one side and three on the injured side. its amazing what these animals can survive i would be surprised if this was fatal.

    great footage though. AMAZING.

  • stay the hell away from those things!

  • @rohanian11 ????? I don't know what you mean.????

  • @borninfreedom not just you, i meant it for everybody. those things will screw you up!

  • That was a mistake . I dont think that the male deer intended to gore the famale deers under belly . They were in a state of panic.

  • They should be more careful with those things.

  • Oh deer!

  • Ouch! What an amazing piece of film.

  • Poor Doe, jumped at the wrong time, what were the possibilities? these animals are SO absolutley amazing, I love deer, they are so graceful. That painting is amazing too.

  • so thats how bambis mother died!!

  • It never ceases to amaze me how 100 large beasts run from a pride of Lions, 1 wildebeast could kill a full grown lion easily if he wasn't afraid and knew what to do. (I've often seen this!)

  • Beautiful animal!

  • @Shebafisher I don't like people that "LOVE" to hunt these beautiful animals. These animals are not TOYS.

  • @borninfreedom I know their not toys. I respect the animal completely and often will not shoot animals but rather watch them. To those who think that as a bowhunter I treat the animals as toys, you misunderstand hunting.

    Luke

  • she didnt come back with a sammich in time.

  • Check the rack on that thing. Get out the trusty savage.

  • that wasnt a deadly crash, not at all, watch corrida sometimes, what the bull can do with man and nothing really happens, those animals are tough, but brain of some idiots if so fragile, where did u see the attack, people dont take drugs...

  • MAD DEER DISEASE!

  • @thelifethreatin ??????

  • @thelifethreatin its called chronic wasting disease and you can tell by looking at the deer that it doesnt have anything wrong with it, it was just a heat of the moment thing, somthing spooked the deer

  • @thelifethreatin its called chronic wasting disease and you can tell by looking at the deer that it doesnt have anything wrong with it, it was just a heat of the moment thing, somthing spooked the deer the doe jumped and it scared the buck so he booked it with or with out her attached to his horns

  • he did kill her you can see he walks up to her then when she jumpes he jumps too and points his horns in to her belly,,you can see the head going up on the male deer...wasnt an accident he killed her))

  • @mamadgavkosh: he did not kill her. It was an accident. And not even fatal. Like FatherOfSin says: those deers are really tough animals. They can sometimes even withstand a wolf attack. Besides, male red deers never kill female red deers. This male was just full of hormones. They will go right through anything just to chase off any other male deer to make sure he gets the female.

  • I'm sure she died slowly and painfully over the course of a few days as the infection and bacteria of a ruptured intestinal tract slowly leached infection into her blood stream.

  • @dedb3ar maybe, who knows.

  • He is not much of a gentleman. He didn't even stop to see if she was OK. ;-)

  • Does anyone know what this song is?

  • Pirates of the Caribbean

  • K, thanks

  • You captured a real life mystery of deer. Wow! King did not stand in the way forests anything even his own female.

  • Was it an accident because of mating season? I wish you could have found her and put her out of her misery but I am sure it was not easy.

  • Little bit late. These Red deer were disturbed by people and the moment was a accident. I didn't found her but a month later I found a dead deer. Not sure it was her.

    Gr. Nico

  • Sad

  • .50 looks like the Jeagermeister picture. Beautiful animals with a crazy temper.

  • the second one looks way more like an elk then a stag

  • how u can film them always so good? whats your tactic, going after them or waiting for them?

  • Gewoon ergens rustig gaan zitten met een camouflagenet en wachten en wachten en zo af en toe, mazzel.

  • red deer the elk in holland :D

  • I enjoy watch this video...interesting....thanks

  • god dam its huge! its like an idaho sized elk!

  • The red deer is the elk of europe.

  • That poor hind. I think it was an accident but that had to hurt 0.o

  • yes i agree and if he is one of those deers which attacks other deers especially femals for no reason, you have to shoot it its not that i hate on it ,its just, something is wrong with him

  • i think it was an accident , she jumped at the wrong time in the wrong direction i dont think he ment to do it because he also jumped as soon as she hits the ground and he kept on running..i really dont think he attacked her!!! but you got reeally nice videos

  • Hi Spike, that is true, it was an accident and not an attack.

  • Comment removed

  • the song plsss.........

  • Hi, Nico!

Do you know, why that happened?

The female was survive after that, or died?

The work (video) is unique. That's gift from God!

  • Hi KP, the female made a wrong move and jumped in the air. I never have seen her again. The moment was only 1 1/2 second. Gr. Nico

  • Incredible shot. You can hunt deers for a thousand years and still never see anything like that!

  • i love these animals so much they remind me so much of our american elk now are they the same as red stag

  • Wow - looks to me like she just got in the wrong place at the wrong time!!

  • wonderful footage....

  • Very special piece of film. Compliments for having seized the moment! I think that the doe is almost unscathed.

  • Thanks for your coment Luciano. I hope the doe was unscathed because she was disappeared after the fatal moment.

  • een echte actiefilm!! Mooi gefilmd, Nico.

    Groet, René

  • Thanks marvicbiz. I didn,t saw the female anymore after this fatal moment, she disappeard with the rest of the herd but I think she must have hurt her selve. Let,s hope for the best.
