This video completely misses the point of Orthodoxy, even from the very first statement, that "Orthdooxy descends from the great scism." Orthodoxy predates the schism. Orthodox believe that they uniquely have preseved the original Apostolic tradition of Christianity. This video sadly was a wasted opportunity to educate the public about Orthodoxy. It's completely Occicentric (Western-centric), thinking of Orthodoxy only in how it differs from the West, and belittling those differences.

The "Church of Constantinople" did NOT separate from the church of rome...ROME was the one that SEPARATED herself from the rest of Christianity, from the other four original apostolic sees which were and still are Constantinople, Antioch, Alexandria, and Jerusalem.

Thus the name ROMAN catholic church...while the rest of the original apostolic church assumed the title of Holy Orthodox (The word Orthodox meaning unchanged, original, erect/correct teaching) in order to distinguish themselves from the separatist or schismatic roman church.

Well it may be so but we christians of east and west that are the true christians of the anchent orders dating back to Jesus himself, have other issues that press us now is not the time to squabble about the athority of the sucessor to Peter, or how we say a certain prayer. We need to band together over the issues that we do agree on, and work out the details in love of Christ not hate, that is what the devil wants us to do. We could face eradication to the radical islamists in short order.
