  • it´s a c6!

  • @xzibit290105 learn your cars boy, its for sure 100% a Citroen C5

  • Citroens are for people, who heard of non-german cars.

  • nice car

  • Beatiful car.I have one .:)

  • lovely car. I'm buying one next month !

  • Especially in Suspension System (Hydractive III+).

  • This car is so unique. When I see one on the roads around Dublin, they stand out with their beautiful design and elegance. This car won "The Semprit Irish Car of the Year 2009". Also it came second to a small Toyota in the Japanese "Car of The Year 2009".

  • Excellent of C5!

  • comjoscrea

  • I drove almost all car brands in my life and since a few years I am hooked on Citroen. I am driving a 2 year old C5 now and is is absolutely perfect. When I remember all the the troubles I had with my BMW , a Mercedes E220, ( not to mention the ridiculously high repair prices) I am glad that I dicovered Citroen as the best and most comfortable car I ever drove in.

From now on I'll stick to Citroen.

  • Same story overhere.

Untill a few years ago l would not drive anything else but German, Japanese or Swedish. Was a preacher and had to drive a lot. Liked the looks of Citroens, but was scared off by horror stories about bad relyability and rust.

Then l could lay my hands on a cheap

2nd hand Xantia. Drove it for 3 years and 176.000km. Best car l EVER had in 30 yrs ! Traded it in for another one and my next car will be a C5. From now on l stick to Citroen as well !

  • This is a fabulous car.

  • german cars has ad designs!! french cars rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peugeot 407! c5!

  • You are most definitely the best reason as to why not to buy an Opel ! I've driven and owned many big French cars (DS , CX, XM,R25)and frankly they have the concept of ride quality and comfort sorted. No need for metre-wide tyres to keep it on the road a la BMW and Audi , no need to ' visit ' every pot -hole and road irregularity to reassure myself I'm still alive. Try a C6 Citroen and you'll see what I mean. This new C5 I'm not at all keen on. Looks like a rebadged BMW.

  • Dear MugenRac1ng' OPEL and also Mercedes are not German brands. They are GM (General Motors).

I'm sorry but it is true.

  • is the best car !!!

  • German cars is shit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • your brains are shit dude

  • Lol C5 Nope car lol

  • Kasası mükemmel olmuş.fransız tasarımları alman tasarımının gerisinde kalmıyor.

  • This car looks much better than the C5 they had before!

  • Please sell in the USA!

  • Nope, wont be in the USA.

  • u can import it! In germany citroens aren´t expensiv , because german people thinks french cars sucks. We will become our c5 in 7-8 Weeks

  • Dear 'Brimstoneandfire' a car should be more than an engine. So this is Citroen.

Also you sould know that Horse Power is a marketing trick. The real power is the 'torque' so the Citroen's has the best enginces since they are Peugeot. If you think that it is 'shit' ask BMW why the buy Peugeot motors for Mini.

Hope that you will wake up!

  • Hmm I can't see my original posting, but obviously a car is more than just an engine e.g the chasis of an everyday BMW 3-Series and the 50:50 weight distribution, coupled with driving dynamics, build quality, heritage etc.

Some Citroens loog good, nice paint quality, OK engines. Electrics seem questionable along with build. Generally, Citroens are not reliable (just look in the motoring press). Ever seen them even within the top 20 for customer satisfaction? Reflected by their residuals.

  • Ok. If you want to compare two or more objects you should have a 'critirio'. So if you have as critirio the price you should compare the C5 of 30.000Euros with the BMW3 series. Sould i start laughing now? ;-)

So you can start to compare and you sould see that Citroen beats at all points the BMW.

    Thanks!

  • The only person laughing here is me at you - why so much deterimination to make yourself look such a loser?

Go and find me a single independent motoring press publication with a test report saying any product from Citroen is better than any BMW product. Or, come back with a customer satisfaction survey with results in your favour.

Citroens are cheaper than BMW, Mercedes, Lexus etc for a reason: they're a different class car, best suited to going head to head with Ford, Opel, Toyota...

  • ... OR, to apply your logic, you are saying that you get more toys for 30,000 euros with Citroen, hence it is a better car. So, to apply your logic, you are saying a Citroen C5 is a better car than the offerings from Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and Jaguar.

...Plus, as one of the above is worth a lot more than the C5 at 3yrs of age, they can work out CHEAPER (depreciation index - look up what it means/is).

Or: Purchase a Kia or Hyundai for more toys and superior warranty to Citroen C5 ;)

  • I don't think that the V^ 3.0L engine is a toy.

So compare the 318 with the C5 3.0 V6 (at the same price) who is the winner?

  • I don't really want to awnsear (about the education and e.t.c.) but I HAVE to. The price and the hole picture of Citroen for the Product Life Cycle PLC of automobiles if the best.

Value for money. Belive me the PLC now is 5 years.

Think about it and you may see.

    Bye.

    Don't awnsear please.

  • 1. Learn to spell. For the sake of us all.

    2. "Depreciation Index". As advised, look it up to find out firstly what it is, and secondly how it works. Then consider why Citroens are largely absent from vehicle fleets in Britain (the managers won't buy)

    3. If the PLC of a Citroen was the best, don't you think the company would advertise the fact: they cannot do this as it would be what is referred to as "False, or misleading advertising".

    4. Don't worry, I shall not respond to you again.

  • Actually you're very wrong. Top Gear road tested the C5, a 320d, and a Lexus 220d and the C5 won hands down on every single point except 1, the BMW was quicker in a drag race, just. Also Fifth Gear tested a C5, a 320d, and a VW Passat, and the C5 once again smacked its' rivals arses. I'm not sayng this because I own one because I actually own a 328i But I have just ordered a C5 Exclusive after a test drive and it was fantastic. I can't wait until March 1st now. What a beautiful car.

  • mpeg2server. Mercedes Benz chopped their link with Chrysler. I honestly don't think they have connection with GM. Citroen actually won several No 1 awards in this year's Irish competition I mentioned. There was big competition from Ford amongst others; but Citroen easily won. I have upmost respect for the Japanese. Coming second in Japan is an enormous achievement.

  • I have heard that Peugeot and Citroen have now come together. Assembly, many parts, engines and they now share designers. The chief designer of the C5 is a Croatian (he work for some years with Audi). They are pushing quality and customer service with their new cars. I read it and I saw interviews with the top Peugeot people.

  • The push upwards can and is being done by Citroen. Look at the excellent new Skoda Superb. At one time the world laughed at Skoda, they recently beat Lexus in the Customer Power Survey. Excellent cars now !!

  • Prachtig geslaade auto!
