  • hahahahhahahaah bill is so funny. btw looks like the ex jew doesn't pay attention to the rule on gluttony!!

  • This is one of the most ignorant questions an atheist can ask. Murder is a sin and killing yourself is murdering yourself. You would not go to heaven if you commit suicide. Besides, Christians believe life is a gift and great joy can be experienced in His creation if you allow him into your heart. Apparently, Maher doesn't see it that way which is probably why he always seems so miserable.

  • Oh atheists.

  • i like how the Devil mislead people just like in the Bible. The Devil tried his tricks on Jesus during the temptation and ended up leaving frustrated. The Devil even tried to use the scriptures and twist it but Jesus always has the higher morality answer.

just like to share Romans 1:22 - "Professing themselves wise, they became fools,"

  • @ikawpipa I like that one. I like quoting scripture at Christians. Makes me feel all smug and superior. Romans 1:22. Got it. Thanks.

  • Someone told me once the actual meaning of sin is to miss the point of the joy of existence. One way to do it would be living your whole life in anticipation of something like heaven. Maher could have made him think about that.

  • I feel like the nerdy fish from Spongebob should've popped up here and said "Waah wah waaaaaah" XD

  • Ahahahahaha that must have been awkward to awnser for the other guy just bam! Out of nowhere why don't u kill urself lol priceless!

  • @destinationtruth85

Also, I agree politically with a lot of the stuff this guy says on paper. I however don't agree with his 'harassment for comedies sake' style. And if you consider yourself to be the same, or similar, to Bill Maher politically, you would respect my opinion & my right to say it. Instead of blasting off at the mouth like a child.

  • @destinationunknown85

Hey look! Pointless aggression from some guy who likes this dude! I know this guy. I've seen his shit. He's a dick. Don't like what I have to say cry, about it. Come on! Get really pissed & stressed out! Say shit about me that I don't care about!

  • I don't get it. I don't believe in Christianity or other religions either. But why would you walk around & treat others like shit because of their beliefs? Also, why do these type of people only do it to Christians? Too scared of Muslims? Don't want your Jewish family pissed at you(if his family is, just an example.)?

  • @Doucette2550 Please, if you haven't watched it or don't know the facts, don't fucking post comments. He does interview both muslims and jews in this documentary. He isn't treating anyone like shit, he's asking legitimate intelligent questions, questions of the kind religious people can never seem to answer. So yea, when you don't have all the facts, keep your mouth shut mate, some good life advice for you.

  • genesis 9:6 If anyone takes a human life, that person's life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.

  • The editing in this movie is fantastic he makes anyone but him looks like a dumb fuck

  • epic

  • This is so funny my coke spilled out of my nose.

  • Why would religious people kill themselves, their belief gives life value. Most smart atheists would concede that theirs no intrinsic value in life or anything else and so suicide would be a rational choice. it saddens me that when people think of atheists they might think of this arrogant pseudo-intellectual who pumps out half-baked ideas and shit george bush jokes.

  • Humans just need something to look forward to.

  • We don't kill ourselves because we have purpose to life for Him. If there wasn't a God, what's the point of life? ...I'm curious.

  • @savyblueeyes To reproduce.

  • @savyblueeyes mmmm my family? help others? be happy? maybe...........?

  • @poposisa all to just die in the end? and that be it? i agree that of course that stuff's important...of course lol.

  • @savyblueeyes then Why dont you leave your family, be alone in the dark and just pray pray pray. be selfish with others because in the end theyll be death...Why even care then?? :) You have to be compasive, feel empathy to others and that. I just feel sorry for you. I feel youre that kind of people that would sacrifice its family for God, it is so sad really.

  • @poposisa LOL! I'm not a freak! haha, but no God wouldn't tell me to do that anyway. haha, but being Christian is all about loving others and totally NOT being selfish, LOVING family&other people. some Christians are like that...judgmental and stuff, but yeah, in the end there'll be death so I'd rather do things that'd actually matter after I die.

  • @savyblueeyes Blessssss then :D Peace!

  • I think it says somewhere if you kill yourself you dont get to go to heaven or something....

  • @adrichii It says nowhere in the Bible that suicide is a sin. That comes from St. Augustine's City of God. There's a bit about suicide in the Old Testament, but at times it is said to be wrong and at other times it is seen to be a heroic act. But never anything like an "unforgivable" or "mortal" sin. The Koran identifies suicide as a sin in sure 4:29, but that doesn't apply here, since the guy Bill is talking to is clearly a christian.

  • I find Maher hilarious but this is totally effed up. Hes a nice guy, needs hope, and Christianity or any religion (no matter how ridiculous it may be) provides that.

  • @Massilana I love how religious people, think like that.. When the big bang is not that but many scientific explanations. I mean sorry forgot that we all came from some naked ppl and the dude who ate an apple and made god angry grrrrr lol

  • Question Level: KINDERGARTEN!

  • Intelligence: Not because you think you know everything without questioning, but rather because you question everything you think you know.

  • @DRocMcJerk... chances are very good that when you become older you will be fat as well. Then your superficial comment may come back to haunt you.

  • "Then why don't you kill yourself?'

"Because earthly cheeseburgers are too delicious to give up."

    Fucking fat ass, dumb ass.

  • Tossing completely aside the discussion over whether suicide is a "sin," I consider that issue to be beside the point. The Apostle Paul addressed the question of wanting to die to be with Jesus, directly in Philippians 1:23-24. The answer is that it is better for us to stay here, for the purpose of *serving* and blessing other people. To be honest I think it would be very selfish of me to think firstly of the pleasures I would have in Heaven and not of the people who may need my service here.

  • Hmm... Let's think that me and my friend are christians. I want to go to heaven right now, but my friend wants to live. So, my friend kills me,I go to heaven, then my friend prays to Jesus to forgive him his sin. Perfect plan!

  • If suicide is an unforgivable sin, he can always let someone else do it, join a war or something ^^

  • DUMB QUESTION! Suicide is an unforgivable sin. He wouldn't be so sure he would go to heaven if he killed himself. He can't take away a life, not even his own life, since he weren't the one who gave him the life. It was god, not him.

  • @thainacd i could almost hear the clown carnival music reading that statement :)

  • @goreziad Hahhaha, whyy!?

  • yep. hes an athiest isnt he

  • @djwilliams310

nooo, hes just speaking the truth ;) *click*click

  • @djwilliams310 He's an apatheist. It almost literally means he doesn't care whether a god exists or not. It's neither agnostic nor atheist.

  • Bit of a dumb question Bill. I mean come on, being against religion is your thing, you're aware of religious doctrine. You know that suicide is the biggest sin of all- Catholics call it the 'unforgiveable sin'. You can do way better than this Bill; you're just being lazy...

  • @MrMarmaduke87 - it made me laugh and puts things into perspective. Good job Bill.

  • @MrMarmaduke87 no, it was funny.

  • @MrMarmaduke87 It seems you're the only one who understands that it is an unforgivable sin, and don't make fun of religious people. Congrats. And thank you, you made my day really brighter.

  • Hmmm... if he's willfully neglecting his health by eating processed foods knowing he runs the risk of diabetes and a bunch of health problems ultimately leading to death, isn't that a form of suicide? So would that mean if killing yourself is a sin, he should go to hell for willfully neglecting his health?

  • lol

  • hahahaha

  • I'm surprised the guy didn't shoot back "Because suicide is a sin"!!

  • I can't imagine having a belly so big I could rest my hands on it 0_O

  • @tintiringa Or a house!!

  • @tintiringa lmao

  • If he kills himself He's going to hell, dumb ppl with dumb q's Lol read the bible Bill!

  • @RoyalCars101 Tell me where in the bible it says "Thou shalt not kill oneself".

  • I think Jesus might be happier if Maher killed himself instead .... or maybe, that's just me! Seriously have you ever noticed how very, very, tiny his little hands are? I bet you Billy here packs a mean little weeble. Might explain why he is so angry with God. Just sayin'...

  • @LittleMsChachi Well, isn't that a great way of changing the subject when you know you've lost this case...

  • @arianf710 Hey now I was using "reason." :)

  • @LittleMsChachi If you were using ''reason'', you wouldn't have suggested that Jesus is real.

  • @arianf710

Bad news: Jesus is alive & well. Good news: he lives off 32n street & could care less about you. What? Mom gave you sour milk or you were born without a funny bone?

  • Wonderful, "why don't you kill yourself?". Truth being told by Bill :)

    Love it!

  • I type "Its 10:36Am" on youtube and this is what I got, lol.

  • Bill Maher looks like a Hemorrhoid

  • Bill Maher is a complete moron and this video shows it in as unaltered, undeniable proof. Even a non-believer knows that suicide is a sin in the eyes of God. It's also telling how the poster cut off the video at his question w/o providing the gentleman's answer.

  • @Maxbps88 Jesus committed suicide, He's God, He's omniscient and omnipotent, so he knew he was going to be betrayed by the Jews and crucified by the Romans. He went right along with the charade. So suicide is o.k. according to the bible. Great moral example. The gospel story is ridiculous. Snap out of your delusion.

  • christianity is against suicide....duh

  • Why is it atheists can't have good questions to ask?

  • @stfuplz13 So.. What's exactly a "good" question for believers if you're an atheist?

    -Um...How's is "God" doing?

  • @BloodTheBad Great! Next question please...

  • @stfuplz13

    - If "God" is such a powerful supreme being why didn't help us right now instead of waiting until the "Judgment Day" to discard us like trashes?

-Why does the "Devil" put so much effort in his work, but "God" just laying around until the "Judgement Day"?

-Why are there so many "God" in this world but none of them the same?

-Why do so many people die in the name of "God"?

-If "God" put us here to test us, why do some people start with a better life than other?

  • @BloodTheBad -Where did we come from, if not by God?

-What is our purpose, if no God?

-If God didn't exist, why would we create Him?

-Which came first: the chicken, or the egg?

    Anyone can ask impossible questions.

  • @stfuplz13 1) I admitted I don't know the answer to that. 2) What is our purpose? No purpose. You just create your own purpose. I have my own purpose in life, but you just choose to follow "God." Some people believe our purpose is to reproduce because that is the purpose of all species in this earth.

    3) The reason people create "Him" maybe it is because of the question "What is our purpose?" , people in the past can't explain natural disasters, or to CONTROL people (I think this one is true).

  • @stfuplz13 4) I would say evolution came first because it is logical. Why the chicken? Reptiles produce eggs too. That really raised a question, why do some animals produce eggs and some don't? Are there any CONNECTION? Unlike you, I'm open to learn about these things about our world and definitely not drowning in something such as "God" because neither of us can explain.

  • @BloodTheBad The funny thing is, my answers are completely different from yours. That's the point of this exercise. No amount of research will answer any of the questions, the answers have no scientific backing, they cannot be studied empirically, and everyone-- theist and atheist-- will have a different answer to such questions. So does this prove God's existence? No. Does this disprove Him? No. Therefore, in a scientific realm, such questions become useless.

  • @BloodTheBad Your saying we can't explain certain things about God? That's not true. Just because there are certain things we might not know about somebody doesn't mean we can't know who they are.

  • @jazzbummer Does that apply for Sphinx, Griffin, Horus, Anubis, Amaterasu, Izanagi, Grey Alien, Reptilians, Genie, Roc, Cyclops, Odin, Shiva, etc.. We don't know anything about them but we know who they are. Same as your "God." Something is wrong here.

  • @BloodTheBad There is nothing wrong. The God of the Bible has impacted this world, even the Eastern world as the Christian church is growing fast in places like China, like no other. The Holy Bible itself is so unique that a book written over a span of 1500 years, with 40 writers from different regions that point to Jesus Christ. There is no other book like it. Jesus Christ is not dead like most myths are today because he rose from the dead two thousand years ago.

  • @jazzbummer Impact? Old Egyptians been here on this earth before any of your story ever made. They created their own "Gods," but the Roman Empire took over and spread "Christianity" to the people.

  • @BloodTheBad Yes, impact. Nothing has impacted the whole world like Jesus Christ.

  • Bill Mayer has found a way to make everyone happy. It would take the believers directly to a better place with God and leave us non-believers to develop a civilization based solely on reason.

  • @bando1ero It seems a fine idea to me, personally. Win-win all around.

  • @bando1ero is it so unreasonable to want to believe in some greater purpose or meaning of existence or that there are wonders out there that we are not yet aware of? i hate the idea that we are the best that there is, that we know everything that there is to know, and that the progress of our own civilization is the only great joy that existence has to offer. is that so wrong?

  • @bando1ero Dude, solely on reason? What makes the reasonabillities? Solely on reason...

  • @bando1ero your sick

  • @bando1ero Hey, it worked for North Korea.

  • @bando1ero stupid atheist cunts like you talking about reason?

LOL, yeah one day there was an explosion and it made the whole universe, real reasonable. Fucking dickwads

  • @Massilana Yes, we atheists love to talk about reason. It's sad that you are uneducated and so opinionated, it's not a good combination for you. If you send me your address I will send you the middle school science books that you obviously never read.

  • @Massilana

Atheism does not force the idea of Big Bang theory or anything else, instead it helps us realize that there are still questions we did not answer in the universe and the world and that takes courage. Only coward who are afraid of not knowing start believing in a invisible magician who created people, and still force them to suffer plagues, illness, kills babies and lets women be raped. BUT HE LOVED US ALL!! HALALUJA

  • @bando1ero Exactly

  • Funny that the very people who you accuse of being corrupt Christians (many politicians and entertainment figures) are actually into evil occultism.

    How's that for a twist?

Call me crazy (as I know the cynical atheist tends to because they're so damn reasonable, haha conceited) but all you have to do is about 3 hours of reading and research to realize people like oh say "Christian" George Bush Jr was and is where he's at because of his dealings with the occult group skull and bones.

  • what stupid comment y dont you kill your self, what a loser

  • remember a risky life style is technically not sucide.

  • Bill Maher is a bigot, the only reason he paused was because he realized he was being bullied for the camera and his feelings were hurt. If anything this proves he is a good person for not losing his cool.

  • I am an athiest, and I believe that Bill Maher is a total ass. Anyway, the reason a christian would not commit suicide is that it is a sin to do so, and they would go to hell for eternity. Why do people have to be so rude about each others beliefs? If it makes people happy to believe that there is a god I am all for it, live and let live.

  • (cont.) our life takes on considerably greater importance and thus we want to live and pass this message on to as many as we can in our lifetime, thus our life takes on much greater importance. It is only the selfish or atheist who would consider killing oneself.

  • @probrojeffro "It is only the selfish or atheist who would consider killing oneself"???? Are you really saying that out of ALL people who have killed themselves, not ONE was a christian? that the mere idea of suicide was spawned by atheists?? THUS, you are quite the idiot and you don't even know it.

  • @Whitedoggy24 It is becoming more and more evident at the general lack of intelligence and that specifically on certain social sites in which making a point is futile and would take so long a response is certainly not forthcoming.

  • Bill, if there is no greater purpose to existence than to spend a few years obtaining some material goods, political, social or financial status, all that fads and means nothing when your'e gone, why don't you kill yourself? Why continue to live if your value of existence is so limited to the here and now putting your worth at that of a pile of garbage. If life is of importance and what we do here has lasting temporal and eternal significance, then it and the promotion of it (Christianity) means

  • Thats fucked up.

  • I always laugh when i see this, the guys face is just priceless lol

  • he doesnt even know the answer that hes supposed to give :O hes supposed to say that its a sin to kill yourself. Jesus'ers dont know their own religion very well. i said that last sentance just to say jesus'ers

  • @Kenko87 its not a burden for me

  • @Kenko87 i don't need proof you do

  • The guy makes a good living on his Jesus statue's ; ) I'm an atheist and I have more respect for a pastor who drives a 10 year old ford instead of a cadillac any day! Religion doesn't hurt me at all until I have to send my mother money to pay her light bill because she sent Benny Hinn a hundred bucks in her religious transe one night!

  • @Kenko87 I have known a lot fo smart christians just becuase you believe in God and accept the Bible as a guide to life and live in a spiritual mannner does not meen that you go through life completely ignorant of science and history. I believe in God, I believe in Jesus and that he rose from the dead. This takes faith, somethig that you don't believe you have. But, have you yourself proven where life came from. Has any scientist in history divovered that? All they have came up with is theories.

  • Now, has Bill maher stated where HE THINKS HE'LL BE WHEN HE DIES??? Perhaps with Elmo in a garbage can?

  • @Kenko87 How do you know? If your so keen on Sceince then you would know you have to try both ways to base an educated opinion. And here is a tip. When ignorant people try to sound profound they just end up sounding ignorant.

  • @Kenko87 study natural sceince? so my masters in horticulture doesnt count as natural sceince? We are talking about religion here. Its a faith based concept. Some find it hard to grap. Others dont and still yet mopre refuse to try. You would be the later?

  • the body is a temple bill dip shit mahr if you harm the temple you do not go

  • @skangmox What if i break my leg skiing, or do i have to go all the way? - lets say a base jump goes wrong and my femur ends up in my armpits and i'm dead, does that count as harming the temple?

  • @AirontheThong no that just means youre stupid

  • @skangmox What about if they're a good christian smoker who eventually dies of lung cancer? Anyway it's MY temple.

  • @AirontheThong I dont know...ask god

  • @skangmox God (if he exists) has never communicated with me in any way that i can tell is him. I have tried in the past but i gave up trying, a bit like dialing a number of someone whose never there. Can you tell me?

  • @AirontheThong soory bro not my forte. You should talk to a minister or priest. They have those answers.

  • Suicide is self-murder. Duh.

  • i remember a while back in the news the man who killed his wife and kids, to send them to a "better place" so he could start over without bringing to much pain on his family. he couldnt join them cuz suicide is wrong

  • Hey, Bill Maher browses /b/ all the time just like we do! See? Celebrities are people too!

  • I'm an atheist and I'm really not fond of smug atheist like this guy. There's no need to make fun of people who have faith, sometimes I wish I still had it.

  • @poopster102 People with 'faith' have been harassing those of other 'faiths', and those without 'faith', for centuries. We are told that we go to hell, are infidels, haven't truly read the bible (I would say the same about theists), and live with sin. No wonder some of us are a little smug about it.

The guys specifically said that being with Jesus, in the afterlife, is a better place. Bill's comment was dead on. If this world is not a good as the other, then why don't you go there now?

  • @JeanetteTherese Nah that guys a douchebag, I don't tell kids there is no Santa and then make fun of them for it.

  • @poopster102 He's not a child (physically at least), he is an adult. An adult who believes in a Santa like fairy tale. I say making fun of that is okay, especially if they think those who don't believe are going to Hell.

Like I said, if someone thinks the after life is better, why not go there now?

I doubt you really wish you still had faith. Look at how free you are now. You can question without fear of eternal damnation.

  • The Bible does not actually condemn suicide. It's years of church teaching to vilify that prevents people from turning Christianity into a suicide cult.

  • ...but it is entirely believable that God just pointed His magic wand and made all living things by "willing them" into existence.

Atheism is a normal part of human evolution. Bronze Age mentality vs. the presence and the future. I'll take the presence and the future, thank you!

I also embrace my mortality. We all die and stay forever dead. How difficult is that fact of life?

  • suicide is a sin, if he kills himself, he will go to hell

  • that is a retarded question. when is it ever appropriate to ask that?

    "why don't you kill yourself?"

you don't have to be a Christian to understand suicide is just wrong.

anyone care to argue that suicide is ok?...

  • @ImaginarySam well if god is a loving and forgiving god. wouldnt he just forgive you for committing suicide. i mean all it would mean to the person is that he took a shortcut to their god. why waste time on earth? or is it because most religious people dont do it because they also feel like they might be wrong. they try to continue to live because their might not be an afterlife.

  • @ImaginarySam

    Challenge Accepted. LOL

Like many issues i dont condone or condemn suicide. You should define "suicide" more specifically. If I was to risk my life to save yours, that is suicide, because I know full well I would die in the process of saving you. As it was for a good cause, does it mean my suicide is ok? Even if it did save you? Or would it still be frowned upon? Just some questions for everyone to contemplate ya know?

  • This is one absolutely certain person, trying to show another absolutely certain person why absolute certainty is absurd. To live your life as if you are sure there is not a God, is nothing more than you deluding yourself into thinking you have some magical intuition or insight to divine the truths we know are unknown. The same applies to people that live life as if there IS a God. Why can't we just live with we don't know?

  • @AMilitantAgnostic The difference is one absolute certain person's beliefs is based on scientific facts while the others; on superstitious, fact-less faith.

  • @albpeter That's absurd - what you just said holds as much water as a Christian saying that their beliefs are rooted in personal experience. The fact is science, has reached documented consensus on the subject of God, we do not know, we are not close to knowing, All Agnostics, and most philosophers feel, we will never know. You have every right to be an Atheist, but don't try and misinform people that your dogma is supported by science. That kind of propaganda make you look extremist.

  • well there allot of morons that call themselves Christ followers and are hypocrites. When some computer Engineers program software, they fail to acknowledge the magnificent role intelligence has to implement these codes. In order for the software to function, these codes have to be arranged in a specific order. I find it interesting that DNA is also a series of codes that have to be arranged properly in order to account for structures and functions found in living organisms.

  • How did the fatty respond?

  • @pingguo2 Watch religulous to find out.

  • Can you imagine how boring it would be to be with Jesus all day...all night...for eternity? Christians don't think this shit through at all.

  • @Brenda2OOO l o l

  • @Brenda2OOO Your as ignorant as you are stupid.

I know you would rather be sucking dick all day,

But others might prefer a slightly different use of their time, like perhaps spending eternity in bliss of the presence of the creator of existence.

  • @Brenda2OOO If you're really interested in the Christian mindset, I recommend reading some great Christian writers/philosophers, both the old, like Augustine's "Confessions", and the new, like Lewis' "Mere Christianity". Talking to a layperson about the extreme ins and outs of theology would be like talking to me about quantum physics. That is, inconclusive, and perhaps funny.

  • @Brenda2OOO As an Agnostic I can imagine that one moment in life where my happiness was beyond every imaginable expectation, and setting that as the new standard for my existence. I feel sorry for anyone that can't.

  • He's an idiot What a stupid question.

  • @pretoshohmoofc whats sad is i hear the same question from Christians all the time. its just the switchero there.

  • @muaythaijunky Christians don't tell people to kill themselves. |t goes against the fundamentals of the belief. This is not a doctrine from them. If a person did say that, he like the idiot on this video are on their own in saying it.

  • @pretoshohmoofc i didnt say that they tell us to, or at least to me. they tend to go on more of the lines of meaning and purpose and they ask me why live. its like they are confused suddenly, and they want to know why do we continue to live if there may not be any purpose to living. maybe its just more of a converting thing(which is what they are trying to do). they bring up pain of living and subjects like that, see what i mean?

  • @pretoshohmoofc No, christians just like telling others how to live. Oh, and the whole we are going to hell and shit like that.

  • @JeanetteTherese This video is not about Christians pushing their beliefs on others. It's about a non-christian doing that.

  • @pretoshohmoofc Have you even seen the film? He never pushes his beliefs on others, quite the opposite. He asks questions, and asks believers why they believe. He may make points, but never does he attempt to convert or push his beliefs on other.

  • @dk2853 C'mon, it's an anti religious movie. He is demontraiting all the bad points of religion.. All the good points were left on the cutting room floor. The movie in and of itself is trying to discredit people of faith. So yes, he is pushing his beliefs on to others. If he didn't, then he would have remained silent.

  • @pretoshohmoofc Maybe because there aren't any good points to religion. The film itself may have changed peoples beliefs, but for the most part its a documentary. Any discrediting of faith came from the people in the movie he interviewed. What you'll maybe realize one day, is that non-religious people don't have to discredit religion. Religious people do that themselves pretty easily. Perfect example, when he asked the congressman is he believed in the literal garden of Eden story.

  • @dk2853 Maybe because there aren't any good points to religion

Question: How many atheist organizations are there out there that feed the hungry? Can you name me ten?

  • @pretoshohmoofc There are many secular charities that exist(Doctors without borders, Oxfam, and Unicef) but I don't need to name any. Those organizations COULD exist without religion, anything religion claims to do could exist just fine without religion. Worse, those religious charities try to convert everyone for food. The only thing religion does is add strife to the world. If there was a god why would he make us fight and kill each other over a simple question he could answer?

  • @dk2853 No many of these groups that you quoted would have Christians in them as well, I need to see atheistic ones....I need to see the alternative to religion in action.

  • @pretoshohmoofc But they are secular, they are not religious organizations, so what if they have Christians in them, that doesn't suddenly mean the entire organization is religious. These organizations exist without religion, they don't need it to do good in the world. Besides you completely ignored my main point. Charity doesn't require religion, we can all help each other and make the world better without introducing conflict through religion.

  • @dk2853 The point is motive. And you will find Christians in secular run organizations. (I personally know of some) and the VAST MAJORITY of charities are run by people of faith. But you WON'T find any athiestic run orgainizations. Because in most cases, athiests are good at criticising others, but don't give a Jack about helping others. The proof of this is the lack of them.

  • @dk2853

80% of help relief in Haiti right now are faith based.

    >>>>80 %!!!!<<<<< Athiests talk a good talk, but thats about all they do!

  • @pretoshohmoofc yeah, 80% of the world also is faith-based. Just because a lot of people are doing it, doesn't make it correct. The fact stands, all those relief efforts and organizations could exist just fine without religion. And the world would be the better for it. No wars over religion, no bigotry because of your beliefs, no terrorism because of back-assed ideas, no genocide for religion. We live in a new age of enlightenment, we need to shed old relics and become a brave new world.

  • @dk2853 You still havent shown me one single atheistic organization who feeds the world yet. Christians work within Unicef but atheists don't work within Christian organizations. Remember, your crowd wants to get ride of our crowd. This will leave an empty hole to fill.

  • @pretoshohmoofc I'm not the guy, you can read my comment :)

Atheists have no "organization". We are not a sect. There are many Atheists who independantly help others who are in need. The fact that they don't do it while carrying a slogan doesn't mean their efforts are any less meaningful.

And really, Christianity generally helps others as an excuse to spread it's faith. You people go to Africa and preach to starving kids about your God.

    Yeah, that helps a lot...

  • "Atheists have no "organization". Yes you do. Atheist Alliance International The Brights' Net European Humanist Federation International Humanist and Ethical Union International League of Humanists International League of non-religious and atheists Rationalist International Humanist Association of Canada International League of non-religious and atheists I wish you athiests were as organized to feed the world as you are in hating people of faith.
