  • love it, just fabulous..Wow weeeee!!! thanks for posting..Alofa tele atu to the group from me in London x

  • the dance was good but i think the girl in the far left should of been the main one cause thats how the real samoan dances.. and the girl in the middle was kinda doin the wrong action...

  • they're soo graceful.. wish i looked that graceful when i do siva samoa.

  • nice dance and nice music too

  • check out the atoa !! the dance is nice tho..

  • The siva is nice, and I like Pacific Soul, etc - but why is it that EVERYONE is using there songs nowadays? I like the "new" sound and all, but I'm tired of so many people playing it out, choreographing every siva, etc to a Marina, Pacific Soul or Jamoa Jam song. Bring back 5 Star, the Anivas, Penina O Tiafau, Tiamaa, Jerome Grey, etc - I'm only 28, but those are the songs I remember from when we were kids, and I miss hearing them. Every event nowadays, it's the "new" stuff only...talofae...

  • That was so malie...best on youtube... havent seen any on here that can move like that...especially the teine on the far left

  • I agree with you, the teine on the far left is so graceful and represents us well. That is how your suppose to dance our dances with grace and elegance....

  • yalls dance is so pretty

    yall are REALLY good

wat is the name of this song and who sings it?? it is a nice song

  • la'u hani by pacific soul

  • the song is called "La'u Honey"

  • Thank you lei2292! Do you know who's singing this version, I thought it was Pacific Soul or Lole, but I think I'm wrong . . . ? Would much appreciate it if you knew :)

  • you're right, its by pacific soul.

  • The dancer on far left shows the fluidness of the siva. They all did a good job...thanks for posting.

  • sole le pese lea ga fai ai lau siva i makou talent show

  • first time i c a nice samoa siva from pago malo le faafiafia magaia le siva koe magaia le gaioi ia outou ga e gogofo i amelika ma hawaii mea ia o kau o gaioi ok

  • nd mawhala you aint even samoan so i dnt know why be talking like a samoan.

Aua le fia kamaleaga pe le iloa se mea.

I dnt even think you know how to speak your native tongue.

  • well thats your opinion and yours only.....

  • ivipele I apologize! My last message is directed to mawhala!

  • ish all good....

  • so i must say i know more than you think about something called "fa'a samoa". Whether its customs, traditions, culture, respect, honor, language and friendship. And so I stand corrected nd must say with humble appologyse that i've respect for Samoa.

But still american samoa is a better place to live.....well according to me....

  • what happen to the tupe.normally we lafo tala or sefulu's.oh well malo laval le siva

  • This is a beautiful siva samoa...now when i say "SIVA SAMOA" it's exactly what it means..."SAMOAN DANCE" now for those others who have nothing positive to say toward our style of dance, please keep your negativity to yourself...yes tahitian and cook islanders have beautiful dances MATAIOTUARAE....... NON POLYNESIAN people see the beauty in your dance and action, our beauty is shown through our PEOPLE and RESPECT...

    alofa.

  • Yeah.. true to the comments above.. traditional samoan sivas don't include shaking your asses hardcore.. :)

  • dats right. The samoan siva, is one of a gracious siva... and they be graefully doing dat. keep it up. love the routine...

  • Dear mataamu916, you are right in what you told mataiotuarae; he (or she) is wrong to tell you to dance the way they do, KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON!!!!!

  • man yous are way to stiff. shake ur ass like us tahitian's and cook islanders.

    but cool though

  • The Samoan way of dancing is way different from your people's dancing so don't tell us to do what you do. Because we are proud of the way we do what we do!! And we do it DAMN GREAT!

  • Hey shut your big ugly mouth we do not shake our peutiful ass when we do our dance if u r not samoan close your mouth u have no idea what u talking about

  • K come on ppl. why else would i view this video??? a. did you guys ask yourselfs dat. all u below.

Not just to say why dont yous shake ur hips n shit.

Maybe i liker samoan sive. n e way im bit samoan so be quiet. and y would i wanna mock another island. i mean we dont hate on other islands just other islands hate on us

    God Bless

  • HEY U!!!!!!!!! enough k shut your mouth n dont tell us 2 be quiet we dont talk about other island n what they do only u talk about us n how we dance so close up k n go brush your teeth we dont hate other island u shit...................................

  • There you go again. I cant beleive how aggresive can get towards just comments.

    FA

  • It's not just a comment. It's the conversation and thought behind it!

  • samoans can dance like you guys but thats just the way we do it...our dance don't include shaking your ass but i'm 10 percent they can do it...

  • Head west and you will find real Samoan dancing.

  • yeah right..both islands are good...don't be trying to say shit like were two different types of people..my parents are from western samoa but i was born and raised in american samoa...

  • But there is a big difference in all aspects of life, don't be blinded by the fact that Samoa is Samoa because its not. You have two interpretations and representations of what it means to be "Samoan"!

  • auuu.....kalofae....west i fea.....there's nothing in the west side just hungry people nd dirt.

american samoa is the most beautiful place on earth. more so then western samoa. we invented fire knife dancing and da manu'a islands lay claim to da oldest polynesian people more ancient then savaii nd so siva samoa originated in american samoa.

  • Thank you "ivipele", you have just proven my point!!!! unlike people like you, us "WESTIES" know alot about something called fa'a aloalo, something you probably haven't heard of.

irrespective of where anyone comes from or origins, we respect who they are and what they are about.

Unlike you we are taught humility and it sets us apart from others because we want to be humble and e le fia soga fa'a ali i luma o kagata we are this and that, because thats being fia maualuga a ea!!!!!

  • well i thought that youtube is where share videos nd opinions are shared. but i know where you're getting at but there's a fine line between humility and pride. Although im proud of being an american samoan native im humbled by the beauty nd stong culture of our islands with a american influence its a beautiful place. (continued......)

  • Youtube is where people are able to share there views, but when people get out of line and have blatent disregard in a discriminative way, thats not being proud like you claim it is, its being down right arrogant and racist. Your not a Samoan!!!! Your just a cliche of what American tourists portray you to be, a big old coconut!!!!!

Brown, hairy and savage looking on the outside, whilst white as ice and palagi on the inside, you sorry excuse for a islander!!!

  • well an apolagizing is not enough for you i guess you are a sorry excuse for an islander. You come around saying "head west where the real samoan dancing is". and then all of a sudden you come out and lash at people who have the opposite and having total disregard for people who tell it like it. and unlike yourself i'm more of a samoa then you will ever be.

    soifua

  • Its quite funny when all of a sudden your playing the role of victum and jumping to the defence, when as a matter of fact it was you who started hurling personal abuse. I won't go into detail as its not worth my salt, but I will leave you with one more thought.

Its alright for poeple to talk the talk, but talking the talk, and walking the walk is not the same!!!!!!

    Fa man.

  • Dude you started this conversation by puuting American Samoa. You are a bit of a hypocrite. You come out talking about "REAL DANCING", and all then all of a sudden you're playing the role of a righteous social equality vigilanti. Well you're full of crap and you should check yourself out before you start running your fia all dat mouth.

Coming up here talkin about respect and all. You know nothing about respect.

  • so i must say i know more than you think about something called "fa'a samoa". Whether its customs, traditions, culture, respect, honor, language and friendship. And so I stand corrected nd must say with humble appologyse that i've respect for Samoa.

  • Stupid people like ivipele irritate the fucc out of me! Western or American we are all Samoans so why are you yapping your mouth? People like you are a Disgrace to the Samoan race for real. Oa te fia maualuga lo mea moemimi! You should bring our people up not down.

  • Suga that is down right arrogant of you to reffer to us as 'HUNGRY PEOPLE and DIRT",you had a disagrement with one individual n now youre disrespecting a whole nation, taumafai ea na tautala ma se fa'aaloalo, peace

  • Ha! I don't even remember...???...But ia fa'amalie atu i lau finagalo pe afai ua afaina lau finagalo.

  • its by LOLE

  • Luvn it! beautiful girls.

  • I thought it was La'u Hani, by pacific soul

  • hey whats da name of this song?
