Doordarshan used to be famous for few programmes that we can count on our fingers. not that it made your days great or anything, to name but a few, chitrahaar, ramayana, mahabharata, hum log, and some of those series where Shahrukh acted. and guys let's not pretend it was fantastic all the time.l nothing is.
