I know I reply 2 years too late, but there is a point I totally disagree with you, in WWII french arly was far from zero. In the 6 weeks of battle of France the outnumbered french using oldening materials destroyed more than 1400 aircrafts and 1000 tanks, which is hugh for 6 weeks of fighting. And even after this french soldiers left France to rejoin the Free France Army and fought some of the most glorious battle of WWII (Bir Hakeim, Monte Cassino, without forgetting the Normandy Niemen).

Just wrong. We won in the first world war, we weren't defeated in 1914 (read a book of history). You helped us only in 1918, using french planes, french tanks and after being trained by french officers. You've just fought for a year. France and England for four years.

In the ww2, it was easy for you to enter in war only in 1942. And you weren't alone; English, Russians, Canada, Free France forces (don't forget that) and french and other countries's resistance.
